Default 370ci dyno numbers today!

I had the car dyno tuned today at a local mustang dyno so i figured the numbers would not be that great but i got the A/F ratio and driveability tuned dialed in with the LC1. This was the best numbers of the day with 12.8:1 A/F ratio, sorry for no graph but the computer was not working right so i'll post it next week when i get it. Peak power was 6000rpms and pulled steady to 6800 rpms. I did not think i would get near 450rwhp on a mustang dyno so that was a added bonus. With a ported Fast 90/90 i think the car would pick up another 20rwhp.

446rwhp/397rwtq unlocked converter

370ci 6.0L 10.8:1 comp.
Forged rods
Mahle pistons
TSP stage 2.5 LS6 heads
Custom cam picked by me and Patrick G
LS6 intake
stock ported TB
Edlebrock long tubes 1 3/4 steped 1 7/8
3 inch H pipe w/Borla XR-1s
TCI max effort 4000 stall
3.42s

Me and one of my best friends(McBrideZ28) built this motor from the ground up ourselves along with him doing all the tuning, that was the most rewarding to see the car do good after all that hard work.

That's what I'm talking about!

Killer power through an unlocked converter...especially on a Mustang dyno! Can't wait to see to graph. You've got a solid 10 second car now.

What gaskets are you running? Would be nice to see the compression up a bit. At least 11 to 1 maybe more if you had the .040 cometic gaskets.

Sweet power on a Mustang dyno with unlocked converter !!!!!!!!!!! Should be quick and fast. Can't wait to see the graph.

I'm running stock GMLS 6.0L head gaskets on the motor, after all the leaking nightmares lurking around the cometics i decided not to take a chance on them. It was not worth it to me to pick up .4 on compressions to have a head gasket blow or leak 2000 miles later.

Figureing the numbers we went no more than 10 out of the hole on the pistons,-4cc reliefs, stock gasket and 59cc on the heads came up to like 10.87:1 on the calculations but that was being a tad conservative so in all reality were closer to 11:1 than we think.

Thanks for the comments on the car. After i burned out chasing 10s cam only i went towards apperance mods. I have a new homepage with updated pictures of the car now.

My stock GMLS 5.7L head gaskets only lasted 4000 miles before I had coolant consumption issues. That was after I had my AFR 205 heads installed. Just my 2 cents. I have cometics now and no issues at all.

Good #'s man, that car should run very strong! The times in my sig were from the shakedown runs I made last year, with 445 rw thru a 5800 converter/th400... and there's a ton left in it.

You should have a solid mid 10 second car no problem

Well it is a lot of dyno time.

I hear ya but she's been driven. Bobby was nice enough to go and run a couple of hot laps on the eway for me. Said it pulls like a freight train.

Those would be awesome numbers for the set-up on a dynojet, much less a mustang dyno. Good job.

I have cometics on mine never had a leak.
We copper coat them after the 2nd time we reuse them.

Nice numbers!

My 370 just made 495hp on a Mustang dyno with the new intake on it
