man,I know how you feel that happened to me over the winter on the dyno.Just got my heads installed and on the dyno my driveshaft whent and took out my tourqu arm and tailshaft and input shaft,oh yeah also put a nasty hole in the floor board.I now have a pst driveshaft and BMR adjustable tourque arm.Alot of people run with the stock driveshaft with no problems.I guess I wasn't that lucky.atleast it happend on the dyno and not on the street

I added more pics , the trans is done, so I NEED A TRANS ASAP if anyone has one let me know, The most i have put down was 468rwhp, but only showed like 300 it broke almost as soon as i hit the throttle.

that's what a tq arm mounted to the tranny gets you... when you get the car back together, get a crossmember and get the TQ arm onto that please.... that will prevent this from ever happening again.

I already started on building a new crossmember & torque arm, I started to do it last week and got on something else, that is the way it goes though.

Is it a built trans or stock? When it happened to me i sent my trans back to RPM transmissions,and when they looked at it it was fine but just neeeded to replace the input shaft/tailshaft

Ive had that happen to a car I was tuning on my dyno, car wasnt making all the much HP either, around 400 rwhp and it was an auto too. Time for a body mounted torque arm huh? good luck.

the trans was stock and starting to slip a little, I had already had plans to build the trans & remove the torque arm just haven't done it yet and this happened so I have to get it done know.

sounds like this only happens on the dyno. i wonder could it be the driveshaft angle being changed while it is on the dyno. makes want to invest in torque arm relocation kit and drive shaft safty loop.

It happens on the dyno alot because the converter flash sends a massive tq spike, which in turn tries to lift a car that's strapped down, and something has to give, the tranny case is the weakest spot.

A tq arm relocation crossmember, like the ones that BMR sells are hands down a part that should have been on the car from the factory, why they put the tq arm on the tranny case I will never understand, it is really a poor *** design, puts a ton of load on the tranny mount, etc.etc.

A driveshaft loop, also something the car really shoudl have from the factory IMO.

Definately get both, especially if you're making any kind of power or running at the track at all.

get the tourque arm off of the tail shaft as stated.Time to upgrade parts.Dont replace,upgrade
