Default Do my numbers seem low?

Here is a pic of my dyno chart.

According to one member off a local board... who seems to fancy himself as the the all knower of LS1s or something (based off his attitude)

well once you pull your head out of your a** and find out where your missing HP is at you'll speed up. but untill then enjoy the slow 101-105 trap speeds.
I was trapping 103 at KRP with a 120 degree track temp and DA around 5500 ft.

I used a guys Gtech yesterday and in bit better conditions, showed I trapped 106.

I don't know if this dude is just saying this because he wants to be a jerk or what, but I don't get it.

EDIT: Car is a 2000 Z28, tsp forged 347, but everything else is stock powerwise other than a cutout on the stock exhaust.

It seems about right for only cutout.
What kind of pistons do have? and how much valve reliefe?

M6 or A4?

you havea stock ls1 with cutout. it may go 108-109 in real good air but what are you looking for?

If everything is completely stock with a forged motor, then yes the #'s are about right due to the heavier components and probly lower compression due to the valve reliefs.

honestly, I think I'm where I should be. Apparently though, I'm the newest idiot to the LS1 community and need to figure out why my car is "abnormally" slow according to this fellow.

EDIT: This is an M6 car. It has a spec stage 4, which I don't know is causing any extra drivetrain loss or not.

Yeah,
Thats my question. So you have stock heads/cam and stock manifolds? It looks like a totally stock dyno sheet.

Judging by your track times and conditions(HIGH DA!!!) you seem to be doing pretty damn good. Don't worry about him.

It's a stock car power mods-wise and it's making stock car numbers, not to mention a stock car trap speed for that DA. The cutout might help a little bit with no other mods, but not necessarily a lot or even at all. Stock numbers (whether it be trap speed or dyno numbers) vary quite a bit from car to car. It can't be said enough.

The guy obviously thinks that for some reason "forged 347" means you installed power-increasing mods of some sort and should be putting out more power, or maybe he owns or has a friend who owns a stock LS1 that did a bit better than yours (like I said, variations are normal), and therefore thinks something is wrong with yours.

Sounds like the guy is an idiot. Quote me if you want when you respond to him...

Hard to see the AFR on the printout, is it close to 14 at the top end? If so that's a bit lean, right?

Yes, everything else about the car is stock. It has the LS1 intake (not ls6, its an 00), ls1 cam, stock manifolds, stock cats, EVERYTHING. Its got gm 36# injectors, but its AFR is actually running a little lean like massls1guy points out.

I bought the car off here... the guys name was "MaxF" , it was procharged once upon a time.

And yes I will be quoting you. Honestly I'm not going to drag it out on the local board much more because its obvious the ears are closed and the mouth is open over there.

I appreciate the reassurance though.

Only thing that makes more power than them forged pistons is them thar forged rods.
PS numbers look perfectly normal.

You may be down on compression a little. If the car was FI in its previous life, chances are the pistons are a pretty good dish.

the TSP 347 shows it uses mahle pistons , flat tops but with 4 valve reliefs.
