I only suggested a small shot of Nitrous because it would kick *** in 4th or 5th gear .... At any rate you have a beast, be careful and get some pics/vids for us to watch.

I saw your car at Scott and Wes's shop. They were saying that it didn't even have an underdrive pulley on it because you were adding a blower. That thing is SICK

No need for the nitrous. He is gonna have over 700 rwhp. My car at 650 rwhp is plenty fast even for sixth gear. I was on the highway this morning and there was no need to downshift at 80 mph to accelerate fast I just gave it some gas and the boost hit 10lbs in sixth gear and I looked down and in a few seconds I was going 140 mph and pulling like a raped ape

I was down by the dyno and they were telling me how it was spinning the tires on the first pull before they pulled it down tight!! Have you got the dyno graph you can post??

Cam numbers? I suspect that although that static compression is low, the dynamic compression is probably in the 8's which will make good power on pump gas.

Man that is a large cam for a blower cam (alot of advance). Who did the tuning? And your going to a roots style blower with over 400rwtq @ 2700rpm? Good luck keeping straight on the road...... Great Job!

actually the cam is a little smaller than that. it is a 240/242 and Gomer did the tuning. I am having problems keeping it straight on the road now. I cant imagine with the blower.

Any FI guys that may be reading, I have a question. Wouldnt a "blower cam" typically have low overlap? Low overlap increases dynamic compression. Wouldnt it be better to run a cam with more overlap (to bleed off some dynamic compression) when putting a blower on a 10:1 compression car? If not, please explain why? Thanks.

I havent a clue. that is the specs from comp and they tell me it is a blower cam. so I dont know. I only want to run 8-10psi anyways which I will achieve with the roots style blower. As well as have no problems with the compression. I am also going to be adding an alcohol injection kit for added protection.
