This one is a bit closer to the magic 400 Once it hits over 1000 miles it would hit 400 for sure

Jealous F-bodies. Whatever Ryan L

If he's in here claiming he's seen something that no one else has, show it. Until then, his claim is BS.

Hey man magazine numbers are what they are..

IF...

-Car and driver runs a 12.4 at 116
-Road and Track runs a 12.5 at 115
-Motor trend runs a 12.4 at 116.5
-Popular science runs a 12.3 at 115
-Automobile runs a 12.6 at 114

Take a wild guess at what you and 90% of the rest of the actual owners of the car will run dead stock

12.3-12.6 at 113-117

The other 8% at crappy tracks will run 12.7-12.9 at 112-114

And the remaining 2% of the bad *** driving good DA having guys will run 12.0-12.2 at 116-118...

Do I love mag times..Hell no. But they sure will give you a realistic example of what a stock car can generally do..Most of us cant even match the mag times..

How many guys really ran a 12.4 at 117 in A C5Z06
Or a 11.7 at 123 in an SRT10
Or a 11.5 at 127 In a C6Z06

Magazine times are what they are man

The LS3 has a lot of issues making consistent power back to back to back etc, until you get all the controls tuned out and let her run.

With a tune, you can avoid the pcm pulling all the timing then gain some power with a leaner power enrichment setting and timing increased in key areas. If the Ls3 is untuned, they're easy to beat in the summer time, but if the guy's had his car tuned properly, watch out!
Very good point Pat. On a cool winter day with traction, the m6 ls3 should be trapping 118-119. LS1LT1 went a highest of 116mph in his bone stock LS2 C6 A6! In the same conditions the ls3 A6 should hit close to 118mph!
