I would be willing to bet with a
PT4000 or PT4400 & 4.10s, your car will drop 5 tenths in the 1/8 mile all day.

I cannot wait to see the results with the 9" w/ 3.70 gears and the big and littles will do. I am also going to try and get some race fuel in it. Oh yea... I also just finished plumbing in and wiring a dual NX Shark Nozzle setup with intentions or spraying a 175-200 shot

The gears that are in the car are just because that is what I had in it. I was not going to put ANY money into the 10 bolt, knowing I have the 9" ready to go. The main reason I did not hurry the installation of the 9" is because the TA was defaulted as my DD after the motor in my truck took a crap, and the tranny in my blazer went. Now both trucks are just about done and I picked up a beater a-b car to get me by so the car can be down.
When the 9" goes in, it is a full spool and I am putting in a Spohn Drag Bar, that is going to take away from the nice driveability I have now and is not something I want to deal with on a day to day basis.
The gear that I chose in the 9" is to suit drivability with a 3 speed transmission.I was really hoping to have the TH400 ready to go in at the same time I put the 9" in, but with all of my other crap I have to fix, the 400 has become a winter project. When the 400 goes in, I plan on a 4000+ Convertor more built for my application.

PT4000 should be able to handle a 150 shot pretty easy.

Your whole Drivetrain will be BULLET PROOF with
9inch
Turbo 400 or 350 Whichever
I wanted to do a Turbo 350, But I just love having my OD to drive on the street. I am curious what RPM you will be turning at 75 MPH though when you install the 3spd trans

I'm only winding out to 6800 though.. but even at 7000 he said that a 100 shot would be a "have to see" kinda thing.

I have a buddy spraying a 100 dry shot now on his PT4000 & runs 7.1 on motor & 6.60 on the 100 shot.
I am pretty sure you can spray a 150 shot. But you will be pushing it & might blow through the converter. Im gonna try. Worst case I will just pill the shot down to a 125 shot. I should still be able to hit some 6.30s

I'm running 7.2 on motor so I'm in a similar ballpark as your buddy.

Good start Leo. The car has a lot of tweaking left before the track numbers agree with the dyno numbers. Right now the car has too many things going against it for really low ET's...pig weight, gears, converter, shift points, etc. It takes a TON of work to get a car to run the number at the drag strip. EVERYTHING has to work together and the run has to be clean. If you're hooking then you already have the hardest part taken care of. As for the negative comments, just laugh and don't even respond to them. People like being *** holes on the internet.

Wow glad to see everyone has had there HATER-AID today.
Leo congrats on the new best! I put an airbag in my passenger side spring and took care of the "squating" I might have an extra one pretty soon I'll let you know. May want to double check that pinion angle but you have to reset everything after you get the new rearend in. Pay no mind to the others you have a very nice setup.

I am really hoping the Spohn Drag bar help with getting the car to launch straight. If not then I will resort to the drag bag.
Hopefully I have everything wrapped up and we can all race next Friday. lol I want a rematch against your wife!!

Looks like a nice setup to me.
Tools like the trolls in this thread are the reason I don't post results on ls1tech. Go crawl back under your bridges trolls. Nobody wants you here.

I have to disagree also Doug. My buddy on this same dyno with boltons and a 224/230 cam only made 397rwhp thru his 4l60E. NOWAY would this setup dyno 420rwhp in a 6 speed. On this same dyno my setup made 453/411 scaled for the wrong MAF. And coming from Leo's tuner, " a stalled auto, with the convertor locked on the dyno, it will produce results very close to a 6 speed" and I believe that.
Heres the dyno sheet of my buddys car making 397 on the same dyno. YOU HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT.
