Good numbers.
Kind of two threads going on at once here, but I'm seriously leaning towards throwing the stock air filter back in. My car came bone stock except for the K&N and now I'm thinking about getting rid of that, lol. I will be pulling whatever filter I have out for sure the next time I go to the track.

yeah numbers are good. But saying a filter that flows more makes less hp..haha
I've already stretched out my world's largest BS flag once today. Here it comes again...
"from sea to shining sea" I stretch out my flag.
I've seen someone swap out a lid on the dyno in 2 minutes and didn't pick up anything (actually lost hp). The car adjusts for the extra air and will have a net gain of hp.

i guess im comparing mustang dyno numbers to dynojet dyno numbers. i searched and came up with. dynojets read any where from 5-12% higher.
i guess im wrong, sorry
yea i know numbers to mean any thing im all about "what do you trap in the 1/4" over what your e/t or hp/tq numbers are.
when a friend with a 9-10psi 02 mustang gt put down 470rwhp on a dynojet i thought that was high, and then he backed it up with 400rwhp on a mustang dyno.
if i can find a dynojet with in 40mi on my house and its not alot of $$ ill put my car on it.

Nope. Put the cam in and turned it over by hand a couple times. Buttoned it up. I was looking at that thread about the PTV clearence and I still think I'm in good shape. I'm only advanced 2 degrees not 4 so I should have more clearence on the intake side which was the one he was worried about.

Yeah but I really took my time with it. I started late friday, stopped early on sat, and then finished it up about lunch time on sun. could have got it done in one day with a buddy though for sure. It was surprisingly easy to. There's no way I would take it to somebody to have them do it. Save yourself the money get a buddy and tear it down.
