Haha, I was just adding to yours saying its all about controlling the power. Id rather let out early and be called a puss then drive my car past its limits and crash and deal with that.

I see. No doubt there's times where you have to feather it or just chop it off to keep it under control. But at his hp/tq level, I don't understand it, he acts like it's impossible to handle

Well everyone has a different level of driving skill... I cant bash on anyone, not fair to judge, but every car is setup differently.

But I agree to some extent, especially with having some of those vehicles he's driven and always quoting trap and et times...

Im really scared to race people..

They dont understand...The say..Well you have 470 rwhp and I have 470 rwhp..If I can take off from a 50 mph roll then why cant you??????

UMMMMM...Because I have 500 rwt at 4000 rpms VS your 425 rwt at 5000 rpms....So I wont do anything under 65 mph now as a start point...Not gonna die to win a race....
I see this all the time, it's lack of driving ability. So many people think that a gas peddle only has two positions, on and off. If you are unable to modulate the throttle to prevent/control wheelspin in a panic situation then you need to get some training. If you are unable to control the car within reason when it comes loose you should get training. How fast you release the throttle and when you release the throttle when the car is out of shape also affects the outcome.

When learning a car it is best to learn in increments, jumping from a 100 HP daewoo to a 500 hp viper is not a good choice for most people.

I understand throttle mudulation. But when your racing a c6Z06 or 600 plus rwhp Supra. you want to give it everything you have..

At 65 plus mph I can just lay into it. At 45 mph Ill wreck and die...My buddies 425 rwt Z06 or other friends 600 rwhp Supra dont make nearly the tourque I do at lower rpm's and can just lay into it hard at 45 mph..Not really fare to me so I like to go at a higher mph...

Guys, please stop with the retarded and assclown comments. All you guys are doing is giving the f-body owners a bad name. Quit acting like e-thug douchebags that do not know **** about other vehicles.

I swear sometimes I feel like more and more Civic and SRT--4 owners are buying all the used LS1s. Leave your ignorance on those other sites please!

01sscam, you don't own anything fast enough to call a 1000+ HP Viper a slow piece of ****. Watch your language/comments.

From what I've heard anything that comes out of John Hennesey should be taking with a grain of salt. He's full of **** in other words. I don't know but that's what I've heard, mostly on the Viper sites too.

Who wins more Races? On the Pro level?

Vettes....Hands down nuff said
These comments are a perfect example of ignorance. Please return to your Honda or maybe even your Kia site.

CTS-V Caddy has six lugs too. Does that mean GM sucks too? Ignorant.

Dodge hasn't had a pro racing Viper team since the SRT Viper came out in 2003. Can't really compare "pro level" racing if GM had a team and C5R/C6R cars running, and Dodge didn't. The hardtop SRT didn't even come out until 2006. Besides, who the hell decides on their car purchases because of what a racing team does? Does John Force make you want to go buy a Mustang? Ignorant.

Yeah ditto on the CTSV. They are same bolt pattern. The rims fit on the viper also. I tried... Looked funny but i was just testing brake fitment.

Not all Viper guys are cocky.. i have 2, i guess that makes me twice as cocky....

Ouch, you want to give it everything you have, but not crash your car in the process.

What kind of numbers are we talking torque-wise in the "low RPMs"? Can you give us some RPM and torque numbers for comparison? Often times gearing plays a major part in your traction problems, as well. I know.

Sounds like you need some better tires or to at least stop racing if you're running stock/street tires with that kind of power.
