Yea, I get the feeling we are going to have to let this thread reach a final conclusion.

To the original poster (Brian)..sounds like your car is very strong. The dyno you had probably is in need of some type of "calibration", whether mechanically or in the SAE correction factors.

Raceman, I liked your summation.. "All I do know is the faster you can accelerate up the big wheel the faster the car will be on the street, strip and oval track. .. "

That says it all..WeathermanShawn..

Ive had my car dyno at 4 different shops with various mods and nothing really adds up

Put it this way. My previous numbers before ls6 intake, headers, ORY, tune were 328/338 and ran the times in the sig

Then i added the above on and got 341/345. So basically 13hp and 7tq for basically the biggest bolton mods to an ls1?

The info did get off topic in the thread, but it was still good info worth reading.

Back to the original question.....I think the dyno is somehow off, or the weather station, etc. Shawn, I am awaiting the dyno charts themselves, and then I will post them so you can see the actual SAE correction factor, and then double check it like you mentioned before.

Thanks for all the replies.

I dynoed the same set up on two different dyno's. one speed inc's-423hp 407tq. the other at herdcore racing 398hp 380tq. Two dyno jets, but not the same results. Then I changed from mac headers to kooks, from a 224 cam to the gx52 cam and went to vector motorsports mustang dyno-370hp 350tq. I wanted to cry like a sissy after this. but,at the track with the old set up I was only running 12.1's and with the lower #'s I went 11.7's. I then built the car up to 463HP 414TQ on the same stang dyno. with a little nos it was a 10.2 car.
