Cam+Boltons= Stock numbers???

Default Cam+Boltons= Stock numbers???

2000 Z28

Thunder racing 224/223 563/562 112 lsa, pacesetter lt's, ory, slp lid, ud pully, 3800 fuddle stall, ls6 intake, patriot 918's, stock everything else

282/297 before tune 309/333 after tune, am i the only one that sees something wrong with this?

how are the street manners? Could your Trans be possibly slipping? You should be well over 309hp, thats stock numbers lol. More like 350+ hp.

Something is wrong...is something wrong with your trans or converter? Power is getting taken from somewhere...

Let's see the graph...is it drivetrain or valvtrain? Hard to tell with the limited data here. What is the timing at, AFR? Although my A4 (SS3200) car with this set up plus PP stage II heads put down 381/376 and added a FAST for a wopping 392/370. Does you graph look like mine I only have the first one not the one with the fast.

Is it me or that stall is way to big for that cam? We put a 3200 on a 238/592/115 cam. Culd be your stall eating your number. We had a car dyno 360 355tq with said cam 3200 prc 5.3, pulley and header car. The number seem low to us but it will pull on a c6 corvette and its a convertable.

That stall is more than that cam needs...there are those that would argue that you can't have to big a stall on a car...for instance people with stock internals running 4000stalls.

it was a dynojet, cause the first thing i thought was, "mustang dynos show low", but sure enough it was a dynojet, the converter and trans have always worked fine, and i was 3 feet from my car when i was tuned/dynoed and nothing went wrong nor did he act like anything happened...

I'm willing to bet the Fuddle is extremely inefficient and it's holding you back. Back when I was cam only, I only ran 12.50 @ 109 with the fuddle 3600 and a 230/236 cam. I made the switch to a Yank3600 and the very next weekend out the car ran 11.83 @ 114.53. Car felt like it fell on it's face once it hit third gear with the Fuddle, whereas with the Yank it just pulls.

i agree, i once had a fuddle (3200) as well and it felt the same once it hit 3rd. i too went with a yank (ss3600) and never looked back..

and damn your car pick up with just a converter change
