yeah my car is a freak i got i maxed out for what it is...

85mm maf and lid
huge custom ram air seal up very tightly with caulk and weather stripping
and 3.5in butterfly cutout not 3in...those are the things that put me a little bit ahead of everyone else...plus i ported my tb a little more too ...it was done by bo white and half shafted but i also took down the other remaining shaft to about half thickness...

maybe not worth much but that is all i can think of why it did so well...i was hoping for 400ish

also should mention the cutout was open too...just like it would be at the track...

That will help your mph at the track but I wouldn't expect it to do anything on the dyno.

Congrats on your new numbers, but +1 for rather high cam only A4 numbers. There are some h/c a4 cars that aren't over 420, and a lot more not much over.

Let's see what your MPH comes in at the track. Good Luck!

thanks you are right about the ram air but it is not restrictive at all even without having air forced in there...hopefully 121-122mph after seeing these results with same da conditions...i think i am going to need around 123mph to break into the 10s cam only with an ls6 intake, and stock 3.23 gears...we will see

got a video of the wonderful ticking

When Speed Ink made the last pull,Larry came running out and asked(Does your car have ported heads on it,case i see you have ARP bolts) and Chris said NO why,my dad would not let me use stock bolts. Larry responded ,because it just laid down 422hp and 394tq,we were like WHAT!!!! we thought he was pulling our chain. No that was with the cutout open, it did 40x and 37x with it closed.Larry thought it had heads on it also, but it doesnt. Chris is in the garage changing the oilpump pickup tube o-ring hopefuly his lifter tick will go away.

No converter spike at the hit in that graph so it looks like the converter was locked. No high torque spike that would make the peak numbers look good. I believe those numbers would be lower with the converter unlocked but then again I'm not a dyno operator.

Nice job. Outstanding results.

I'm glad you have it sorted out, those are some nice numbers cam only. That is what I call a torquer cam

Let me know how it runs at the track when you get a chance. I think you'll like it, that trq is almost linear.

I think I'm gonna call it the "El Torro" cam

you should call it "Flat Line" or "Flatliner"....make sure if you spec it out again to put it on a 111+2...

Well some poeple do not mind a bit less intake PTV (less than .080), so it depends on the powerband desired. Myself, I grind all MY cams on no advance +0 so I can play with them while installing and sometimes after dynoing.

I'm running a high compression 12:1 370 cid and with a stealth 224/222 .609/.576 117 LSA and it put out 464rwhp/ 428rwtrq, A4 3800 vig stall.

I would swear I have a stroker , sounds like stock untill you mash the pedal.

Impressive numbers through an A4 with that cam. What heads do you use if you don't mind me asking???
