Default SMALL Cam(FMS F2) and stock heads over 400hp inside

About a month ago I decided to pull my motor out of my car and do a freshen up job, and also decided to put stock heads back on the car and change the camshaft. I decided to go with one of our FMS F2 camshafts. I chose this particular cam because some customers asked and I wanted to prove that you don't have to go with an oversized camshaft to make good STREETABLE power. Well the numbers turned out to be 401.45rwhp/408.93rwtq(graph below).

Here is the run down of the parts used:

-FMS forged 346 shortblock (diamond pistons/lunati rods/stock crankshaft)
-Pacesetter Longtube Headers
-Mufflex Y-Pipe with 4" collector
-Hooker Catback
-LS6 Intake Manifold
-FMS Ported Throttle Body
-ASP Underdrive Pulley
-FMS F2 Camshaft (224/224/112LSA)
-Manley Valve Springs and Ti Retainers
-Stock 241 heads milled for 11.4:1 Compression---(fresh valve job)
-FMS Custom Tune

Dyno Graph:

Too bad I can't claim the uncorrected numbers(Good weather yesterday):

Awesome numbers John. I like how you posted both graphs. That weather was some great these past few days.

this is to be expected. there are a ton of 224 cam only cars making 390+ whp - the addition of OVER 1 point in compression should easily bump them over 400 rwhp. not to mention their use of a gm stock shortblock. i don't know that your forged internals add much hp, but do they probably weigh less than the stock pieces?

Damn that's a nice torque curve! I agree that the compression definitely helps a LOT and who knows if the forged moving parts helped or not but this much out of a 224 is great. This is most likely what I'll be going with someday since I want it to drive like stock.

Nice #s John! Very impressive! I'm glad we were finally able to get it on the dyno after having this setup up and running for almost 6 months!

I also found it interesting that the peak power was around 5500 rpm. You are also making a ton of power below that number. Very impressive.

Don't worry that will most likely be the next cam that will be in the car. I just wanted to try this first and then step up the camshaft. I will have that one and a few more in the upcoming months with a few new cams we are coming up with. This setup is so much fun to drive on the street with though.
