not trying to yell just everyone keeps telling the limits of the block not the short block

Supposedly, stock rods are only good to around 550 hp, stock pistons good to 500 - 550 hp...stock crank has shown to hold well over 1,000 rwhp and the stock 6.0L iron block has held upwards of 1600 hp. The weakest point however, would be the stock rod bolts.

stock longblock 6.0 went to 640rwhp for along time pushing 5000lbs. blew it up with a nitrous misshap.

now a stock 5.3longblock over 600rwhp with hundreds of runs on it and it is still running strong. thats with a very loose converter. i am prety sure there is more in it.

Do the stock iron bottom ends tolerate n2o well? What kinda power can be put down with it reliably?

i have always thought a turbo will take you a little farthur than other forms of power adders when looking at stock parts. that being said i dont see why you couldn't goto 600rwhp with nitrous as long as everything was right. good fuel, pleanty of fuel. staged or progresive shot.

i think a camed 6.0 is good for 300+rwhp. i have ran as much as a 175shot and have heard of others running a 200shot on a stock longblock.

i ran a 300 dual stage shot for 3 years & 60,000 miles on a stock 4.8 block with nothing but springs ,pushrods, & the tr224 cam. This was in a heavy, heavy extenden cab with
oversized wheels & tires. However i must have used up at least 6 4l60's in the process.
