Default What to expect Heads & cam Combo

I am going to put a set of Gm casting ls6 ported heads on with the mti r1 cam, what can I expect. The heads are supposed to be hand ported to were the ports are with in 2% of each other. This set up will be going on a 99 C5.
Mods Include:
1:Lg Long Tubes
2:Haltech Venom Intake
3:Ls6 Intake Manifold
4:Lg Off-Road X
5:Borla Stinger catback

I would like to know what your oppinion is on the setup and how much power do you think it will make. I also have a Nx twin nozzle setup pilled to a 150 shot. Let me know what you think
Thanks
Adam

Default H/c

For a reference I made around 430 with a 233/239 cam with PRC 2.5 LS6 Heads and a goos set of LT's. Tuned of course. I'm not familar with the specs fo that cam so I couldn't give a great guess.

I have a pretty stout Heads/cam setup in my car... Let me start by saying it makes great power, but the driveability is somewhat sacrificed by the low rpm surging, which i'm sure you've read about if you've done any kind of research about head/cam cars. I have the Futral F15 cam (look at their site for specs). I think you'll be somewhere close to my power, so i'm sure your drveability will be similar. Thats the only thing i do not like about the car.. Its great fun, but the surging sometimes makes you look like its your first day on the clutch! LOL!

I have virtually no surging or bucking in my setup. Occasionallly she will stutter a bit (after running WOT on the EWAY and coming into traffic) as if it were about to stall, but recovers nicely. Good tuning goes a long way.

Damn thats a badass setup. How did you race the compression, just by milling the heads or did you build the motor that way?
