Default Daily Driver Dyno numbers: 250fwhp/330fwtq @ 13.5degrees timing.

Not too bad for a 4-door grocery getter and a "keep it together" tune.....

Oh yeah, 2001 Grand Prix GTP w/ 3.4 pulley, VS Cam(valve spring safe), Gen5 blower, 04 motor, ported mani's, 3 inch Downpipe, Full Exhaust, SLP intake w/ dirty K&N filter.

Nice, I had a 97 GTP with VS cam, ported gen 3 blower, ported manis, N* tb, and some other minor stuff that put down 247/299 on a mustang dyno with just your standard DHP v1.0 tune, not tuned for a cam at all.

Sometimes I miss that car, it was fun to beat the stangs down while they're thinking wtf is happening to me. I was barely able to beat stock f-bodies though...so I joined the ranks!

I love the gran prix. Very reliable. In fact my DD is a 93 gran prix with over 220K on the clock. Never been in the engine or trans either. Runs perfect. Hell the factory water pump stayed with me until 199K !! Got a nasty hole in the exhaust behind the cat and it sounds like I got a cam in her. LOL !! Good results brother.

What kind of track #'s. I highly doubt that could beat a stock ls1 powered F-body. Great for a DD though.

werd..my GSR swapped civic would rape those GTPs all day, my buddy had his tuned made around 260/320 and we were dead even from a roll on, lt1 f bodys would **** that civic up....

lets see.... raced a S2000 with exhaust, tune, and intake and raped em from a 60 to 120... about 2-3 lengths...

raced a STI from a dig... to 70 he did about 1-1.5 lengths but he was aparently modded and def. wasnt on stock boost. My stock 8.5 second ls1 with me driving was door to door with the GTP.... that was before the ported exhaust manifolds and Gen5 blower.

With 110 octane, 3.3 pulley, and 17-18 degrees of timing this thing is all over 13.0's-13.2's... right now as is it feels like a 13.5 car..... but from a 2nd gear roll it would kill an ls1 until it hits over 100mph..... (where there is no replacement for dispalcement.

I ran 8.9 in the 8th with no traction and street tires FWIW. Thats with the 3.4 and 18 degrees of timing and 3 degrees of knock.

btw... with 101 octane, 18 degrees of timing and a 3.4 pulley on the stock 01 blower it made 278fwhp and 337fwtq on a different dyno about 1 year ago.

Ok... I would waste LT1's before my cam in my GTP. A few simple mods change GTP's a lot, so I believe you raped a lot of stock GTP's. I ran a 13.6 here at 4400', stock LS1's are high 13's and stock LT1's are mid 14's at the local track.
