Thanks Ron, Mike and Charlie. I could not be any happier with the results. Ron is right, I stood there and watched everything. When we fired it up after the install and went for the #,s I just stood there holding my breath for just some kind of gain. Very exciting for everyone when we saw the results. As far as driving just as smooth as before, but much more responsive and a definite SOTP gain. I did a lot of reading about this intake and did not find many positive comments on a basically stock 346. I would tell Ron at least it will be pretty. All I can say is my car responded very well with this thing. Just a few bolt on's and right at 400 hp to the wheels, Not to shabby. Thanks again Vengence. I am a very satisfied customer and will talk to you soon about the next project.

Well I think this thread should put to rest the potential of a ported 92 mm FAST. However I would like to see more test cars to back up these results. Good job RON !!

hey ron...i got an idea...instead of longtubes when i get down there, how about i get the fast intake and tb and find out what it does with stock manifolds...(lt's will be after that)...that way we can find out what it will do...

Good post Ron, congrats to the owner. I bet there are many who would like to see back to back results on many set ups, stock manifold/LS6 vs stock manifolds/FAST92 vs longtubes/LS6 vs longtubes/FAST92...those would all be some good results to have on the same car to be true Apples to Apples comparo. A shop car would be a good place to try this.

I wonder if the Z06 cam is what would make the difference in results between '01-'02 F-bodies and '01-'02 Z06's.

BTW Ron what is the turn around time for a ported FAST 90 (with paint job) when someone sends you one in the mail.

I dont think u would see that kind of results on a 01 F-Car..

Still it is pretty amazing to see that kind of power out of the bolton setup
Actually I gained 28 rwhp and 20 rwtq from my 92mm combo

No it's the LS6 heads. They flow 20-30 more cfm stock.

Interesting results and nice work.

For those of us with a little waxer in them, do you guys ever cut the fuel rail covers to fit the FAST? I've seen a few pics of guys doing it on their own and having a very close fit that looks stock.

Detoxx,we are not talking about cars that have cams and ported head like u do
We are talking about BOLTON cars..

I agree with Jan,the LS6 head combined with the 02+ LS6 cam might be reason behind this gain but unless we further test it on other cars we wont really know if its realistic..

Dont get me wrong I am not saying this didnt happen,I would just like to see it done again on say a 01 F-Car with boltons....

Somebody bookmark this thread. Everytime someone talks about not gaining power from a fast intake and 1 7/8" headers on a bolt on car, bring it up. I have been saying forever that you dont lose **** down low. Stunning results. The owner should be beaming. I would love to see what your medium cam would do to those numbers.

Wow, awesome gain. My H/C setup is weak, but I bet a nice 92 setup would really bring out some decent power after seeing this on a stock LS6.
