Haha, something is clearly wrong with that setup. Perhaps that "mystery" 232 cam is actually a stock cam.

Maybe the mystery is where the **** did the cam go to make those low numbers?

WOW You guys sure aren't giving Patriot a good name .. Seems like they're not putting down the numbers very well.

As I noted in my post though, I suspect my first dyno was screwed up. I am hoping to re-dyno this spring. In addition, I did not degree my cam and advanced it by using the timing marks on my adjustable timing set. That is not an accurate method. In addition to that, my calculated DCR (based on intended 2 degree advance) is <8.5. Even if an “accurate” dyno yielded sub-par numbers, it could be due to factors other than my Patriot heads.

I was going to say the same thing about the heads. Did any of you dyno before & after the heads. The Magic Stick is making a good showing as well.

Lol thanks for the encouragement, but I think the whole motor was messed up since i spun a main bearing, screwed my lifters and tore my cam up. So next setup will be same except no fly cut pistons, torquer v3, and ls7 lifters. Will redyno and put new graphs up when I get it back together. Sad thing was when I was cam only with a comp 228/230 i made 365hp/365tq and went 11.8@116mph with a 1.6 sixty

i have a feeling in alot of these motors especially ones with 317 tq, the motor itself isnt good. Maybe the rings are shot or somethings broken and you never even know.

My car had 24000 miles when I did the swap. Stock it made 311/320....@19000 miles. I don't think there was anything wrong with my car anyway.

4400 stall with 4.10's, you have a reason.

You have fly cutted pistons and you didnt mill your heads? When u fix your motor mill the heads and bring the compression to 11 to 1. There is about 10rwhp in that, another 10-20rwhp is not there from the 4400 stall and the 4.10 gear.

I'm sure an A4 with a big stall should win this one.

Low dyno #'s, Low ET's.

My combo was a little disappointing on the dyno only making 402/367 for all the mods I have.

AFR 205
MAMO Fast 90/NW 90
11.2:1
224/230 XER Comp
1 7/8 Kooks
Catted Y Magnaflow Quad Tip sys
9" 3.70
Yank 4000SS
Yella Terra Ultra Lights
Underdrive pulley
37lb injectors
blah, blah

So last night I finally get it to the track and run a 11.55 @ 116.75 and a 11.51 @ 116.59. Car is stock weight with big and littles (Bogarts) and 27 x 11.5 QTP Hoosiers.

The dyno is just a tool!
