Well after reading posts on here for the last two weeks about everyone doubting dyno numbers, I took it upon myself to do an independent dyno session. This morning I took the car to SLP in Toms River. They put you in a glassed off room and keep you away from the car. My car put down 456.1rwhp and 406.2ft-lb. SAE corrected with 3 degrees of knock retard across the band on the second pull. Unfortunately Joe wasn't able to be there to see this baby work its magic.
Now I am 100% convinced that JD's dyno is dead on. I am very pleased with the results!!!
I will post this SLP dyno sheet as soon as I can get it scanned.
Thanks again to JPR for everything, this is a kick *** car!
Ron

Way to go,congrats to JPR and you Ron.That is an impressive set up.
Joe really did his homework on this package and the R&D involved with it.
BTW-this is an automatic not a M6,kick *** numbers.

I dont think a verter will lower the number at all,if anything, due to it being lighter and LOCKED it may add a few ponies.IMHO.

I still think it'll lose a few with a converter.

Congrats bro...
That about sums it up...
The only thing thats gonna hurt u is the converter choice and gear ratio that u said your run. (3.42/3600)
If u want to lay down a 10 Sec pass its gonna need a TCS 4200/4.10's with a 26in ET Drag.
But it'll still run 11.3 all day long with the smaller verter/gears....
Good luck....

20-30 rwhp loss with a 12 bolt? lol It depends on some things I have seen personally a 3 rwhp loss going to a 12-bolt with 4.10s, but may the car got stronger from one dyno to the next since the motor was fairly new.

OK....So based on what 2 or 3 different people on this post are saying is that JPR's Shop car with a light weight converter and going from 3.23 to 3.42 gears pulling 456 at the rear with the same exact head and cam package will pull close to 480 at the rear if we put his stock converter and 3.23 gears back into the car???? Hummmm.....Cant wait to see this package on an M6 car. What will the next round of excuses be then.
Oh and I dont remember Ron ever saying anything about running a 12 bolt in the car so why does that issue keep coming up?

I lost 11RW going to a 12-bolt/4.10 over my 10-bolt 3.73's.
From what I understand Ron's car is only getting 3.42's and no 12-bolt.
IMO he wont lose to much doing that.
But it wont be the best gear for the setup.
With Joe's EWP and a loose verter it'll still put down over 440RWH...
