he PROBABLY will not be on race gas, and @ 15lbs PROBABLY does not have the supporting mods to maximize that turbo. Hes probably closer to the 340-350 wheel tops, if your making a solid 375wheel and matching or more torque you will get the jump and have enough to hold him off.
I had the 245-50-16 nittos on the 1.599 60' run.

My dynoed 373rwhp, and that was before i did the sux2bu ram air mod.

And seriously 130 traps speeds???? from JUST a tubo upgrade. Even I would drive one of those if that were the case... c'mon man... thats 30+ mph from a turbo upgrade, not gonna happen

*if you really wanna win through a little juice on it for good measure*

I think you guys are confusing a 35R turbo with something else. On a sartee4 you'll get 400whp with just a 50 trim on stock internals. With a 35r you can expect 500whp if you run a bottleneck. Those turbos can hold 30psi+ and flow 64-65 lbs/min! That's pretty ridiculous. On a sartee4 with a built engine that turbo is good for major power THROUGH 8k RPM's but with stock internals it's not a good idea to push anything past 20psi. I'd personally never run a 35r unless I had the complete setup to support it. Running a 35r at 15psi is silly considering how long it takes that turbo to spool. All the power of 20G with the spool of a big turbo. What's the point? Sounds like the sartee4 owner is either in the middle of a build or just got some bad advice.

Yes he is in the middle of the build and said he is breakin in the motor now so saturday it is a go. I think i should strap on the drag radials if the 35r is a potent as you claim.

friend has that turbo on his ACR. fully built bottom end and car has gone mid 11's at 125+. having said that, the car was just at the rental at atco the other day and like has happened in the past, his car did not run properly, the gasket on the turbo was leaking because a bolt broke.. i rode in the car and at 20psi in third gear it breaks the tires loose. if he's on the MT's i would definately be on mine. who knows? maybe he's a BS'er or has problems every other time the car runs like my friend's, just hope he's not the real deal because, i believe the higher the mph's go the harder it will be to hold him off (if he's legit.) as for 30psi on pump gas? he'd be insane. my friend thrw the C16 in at the track and turned it up to 30, on the street he can run 20psi.. from a dig, i don't think he has a chance in hell to catch you though, in the 1/4. like the other poster said make sure you and he knows where the race ends ahead of time.

my prediction; from a dig you by a car or 2 and from a 50roll he'll take you over 90-100... good luck, be safe..

edit* btw this dumdumdumdumdum has put down over 400 to the tire on TuneTime's Mustang Dyno..... before he got the bigger turbo. i **** you not (i can't stand them personally)

Ok, thanks for the info and i guess we will find out. If he does beat me then i will congratulate him, but i will be back for revenge. my car was stock until i got beat by a full bolt-on mustang 06' and every since then i couldn't stop, so if i do get beat then it will just be more motivation.

Next mods will be 85 mm lid, maf, fast 90/90 or the new weiand, lower the car 1 inch with dragshocks, and shed another 60lbs or so. All things that will help top end.

just throw a 100 shot on there, pull a couple degrees and spray his ***, he's got a power adder and so will you lol.. we installed my zex kit in about 2 hours, maybe less and it dropped me from 12.6 to 11.8.. in a brick, in your car it'll probably knock you into the 10's and add another 8-9mph

What tranny do you have in that brick? I have been thinking about nitrous for the longest time, but i told myself to hit 10.99 on motor first with a dialed suspension.

If i were to add the nitrous i would want a progressive controller(because i love my 4l60e) and a window switch to cut power on shifts(again for the 4l60e) and i would want to install it to where no one could see or find it, whitch is what i am looking into for next year.

stock 4l70e with billet servos and deep pan... i sprayed through the shifts and used the WOT switch, works perfectly... if you're going to spray it alot, often rather, i would do the window switch otherwise i don't think you'll need it with a built trans.. it's no different then having more power from any other combo you know? Progressive? not a small shot like 100-125 IMO at least, waist of money, hell i don't even have a purge kit. i just floor it armed with the ign off and it's purged, no "ricer" scenes, no drama..

btw i think that's hilarious that you can't right "S.RT-4" i had to add the period or it would look...like.. this!! dumdumdumdumdum

Considering that you cannot do anything to take the stock computer of those cars to lift the rev limiter w/o an AEM EMS or SCT tuner, he has some money in this car (Those tuners cost $2k and $1k, respectively). I wouldn't believe him on the 15 psi either. That car makes at least 400 whp, unless he really runs it at 15 psi. For all you know, he could show up with a tank of race gas running 30 psi. Be ready for a fight, this shouldn't be an easy race for you unless the car is poorly put together.

Know someone with an Evo 8, GT35r some big cams made 327 awhp @ 18 pounds.

Got another friend with a KA-T(S13) setup GT35, some BC cams he's also aiming for around 420ish rwhp.

The more I think about it the more I think you have no chance from a roll if he's legit. Good luck.
Who's your friend with the Evo8?

This race is going to be pointless. You already beat him in looks. Okay beauty is in the eye of the beholder but you'd have to be blind to like those things. The only thing they have is power, and its still a Dodge.
