SS vs 1K bikes
would this setup be enough to take down newer litre bikes (not anything over 1000cc)
SS will have
370 12:1 Static compression
Patriot Stage 2 LS1 heads
Victor JR intake with elbow
MS3 Cam
1 3/4" headers w 3" primaries 3" ORY to GMMG
200 Wet Shot
T56
12 Bolt w/ 3.73's on a 28 Tire
assuming a 40mph - 160ish Roll.

Granted you should have about 90 hp more than this car but you get the picture.

Depends on if the bike has the RIDER mod. MUCH harder to ride than drive, especially a new liter bike from a dig. Technically no, you can't do it. Realistically, most riders can't squeeze the best out of their scoots (even from a dig and especially in turns), so your odds are improved.
FYI, with the RIDER mod fully installed, you'll get whacked bad from the dig. Liter bikes go 0-100 brutally fast and acceleration slows after that because they are aero bricks compared even to our cars. Fact is, there aren't that many really good riders.
Fact also is, this is a fun race regardless and you'll learn a lot. Try it from dig, different speeds, etc. Just be careful not to kill your friend, he has no cage - odds are no leathers either.
Assuming you are a very good driver and he is a very good rider my prediction on a 40-160:
You will get really hammered to 100 or so. You will then start to pull on him if you are spraying, but it will likely not be enough to catch him.

X 100000000, thou seriously if he isnt your friend bet some money, and say you will go from a dig, at the start turn your wheel towards him and just knock him off his bike then you win!
haha all joking aside i used to tell my buddy that when he said lets race when we got caught at lights.
but just be careful, wrecks on bikes are devistating especially at the speeds you guys will be traveling.

You beat the riders, not the bikes...

I think its a lot easier to ride a bike then it is to drive a car. I do have more experience racing bikes then cars, but they are a lot easier to feel when the right time to shift is. I use to drag race a zx12r and was getting low to mid 9's. I never came across a car on the road that could beat be, but there were some cars at the track that were running 8's, but no where near the speeds I was trapping at. In order for you to beat a liter bike, you'll have to be in the low 9's and have a set start and finish from a dig. Best of luck, but I think this is a you're going to lose.
