Ok this is my first post about anything like this, so here it goes. theres this really cocky guy that said his mom just bought a brand new twin turbo, 6-speed jetta (didn't know they existed) and says he'll outrun me easily, and im like bullshit lol. My car is a 2000 ws6 a4, pacesetter lt's, ory, tsp rumbler catback, slp lid, k&n filter. I'm thinking I'm gonna kill him easily, but he's pretty confident and wanting to go for money. What should i do?

 

is this a joke? if this is real heres what you do. get some walking talkies, get on the freeway at about 4-6 am. instead of car lengths, give him an exit. u start at (Making up a number here) exit 50, he starts at exit 49, see if you can catch him by exit 48. maybe exit 47. i love doing that to the ricer population around here.

There is a 200hp 2.0L Jetta for 2009 but I thought it was only a single turbo. Is he lying and it's not stock or does he have no clue what he's talking about? (or maybe I don't, I don't follow the VW scene)

Either way, a 200hp Jetta, assuming that's what he has, wouldn't even hang with a bone stock, auto LS1 from a roll (or a dig), nevermind your bolt-on car. Unless you are really that bad of a driver.

one of my buddies did the same thing when i got my trans am i was telling my friends at a party, and he is all ohh yea i got a brand new Passat thats twin turbo 3.6L i told him, it says 2.0T on the back you fuggin idiot.

First of all, no twin-turbo stock Jetta's exist. Period. Second of all, a 96 non-pi GT could hang with/beat a 2.0T Jetta. And we all know how slow the SN95 GT's are.

Now, about twin turbo Jettas....Are R32s, Jettas? I thought you could get an r32 with twin turbo, 6 speed, or have the vr6 motor with a 6 speed. The little hatchbacks.

 

the R32 is the VR6 motor [which happens to be a narrow angle single head V-6, 15* angle to be exact, and its a 3.2L NA, they are all NA from the factory, and they are AWD.

not a bad car is super charged or turbo'd but just a mid to low 14's car stock.

I thought I have seen some with twin turbo badging, or bi turbo, or something of that nature. I didn't know they were all the vr6 motors. I thought they were AWD, but wasn't too sure, so I didn't post it. I would love one of them though...just not for the price.

 

Well, I did some searching......I was wrong, never was a bi turbo r32. Still not a bad car for N/A v6. Now own the kid for thinking his mom's jetta is fast.
