Personally, I think he's too new to the car for him to get even close to the potential that the car could have. So, it's too early for anyone to speculate the best case scenario.
only need about 440 with the right set up to hit 120's

Oh, I agree......I was just talking generalities and taking into account this guy will be new. He needs seat time to take it to it's full potential.

Is the car a DD?
Personally I'd go with a TR224.

A guy here had that same setup on his GT, dont know about how much boost though. He was ripping mid 11s on DRs. Your friend is going to lose unless he throws a kit on real quick.

Let me put it to you this way. I had a 02 SS with a 408 in it. and everyone wanted uss to run to see wo would win, off of my 200 shot of course.

alright been to the track a few times with the car, we got a completely new car now....traded the t/a for a 97 with a ls1 conversion ported and polished ls6 heads, fast 90/90 setup, kooks, 4500 stall, 4:11's, 230/236 cam, true duals, full bmr suspension, went to the track on march 7th, and ran 11.50's all night, went to the track on 4/4/09 we put some taller tires on it this time due to it running out of gear previously, this time we went 11.30's all night. we havent got the 60' down in the 1.5 area yet, were pulling consistent 1.7's launching at 3k, we will be putting a set of 3:73's in it this coming up weekend.....guy with the mustang still hasnt got his car done yet keeps saying it will be any day now but who knows he was there when we was running so he probably decided that he needed to spend some more money....
