The C6Z on the other hand is the one that traps 120's.

OP- easiest answer, a good 275/50-15" DR and a 100 shot will do you good. That should be more than enough to roll on one, from a dig or roll.
And headers + tune but still its close

Cam N2o and your good

just nitrous and you will beat one....

it doesnt take a bolt on cammed car to beat one... doesnt take a H/C car to beat one..

a properly built bolt on car or a car spraying will beat one..

Full exhaust, stall, drag radials, tune ----------- done

Or just go with a full exhaust, radials and a 100rwhp dry shot. You could take one down with minimal mods, but a lot comes in to play. How well can he drive? How well can you drive? Both cars driven properly, I think you could take him with what I mentioned.

Hell, a 100 shot and drag radials on your car as is should get the job done.

300 RWHP on the average stock car plus a 100 equals 400RWP compare to like 460-485 RWHP

Now lets say your a little like me:

Headers / intake manifold / FTRA / dump'd exhaust NGK plugs and MSD wires with 340WHP and a 100 shot 440WHP and you get a LITTLE close 30 wheel horse is a good bit once moving BUT it also does depend on tires and the GT500 driver(stick)

I think A BONE stock car needs a mild cam(gain 50WHP) and a 125 shot to say he beats a GT500 but thats me. Cam and Spray should do you good Spray first though

"Beating a car" Able to say one has won a race by more then enough for a driver to say he can't drive.

If you aren't walking or running away then its still a close call.

they dont run any better than a 12.4ish at best...

a stall full exhaust and intake will put an ls1 passed that..

a 100 shot will put an ls1 right within a couple 10ths of that... full exhaust or an intake or a stall and a 100 shot your passed that..

a 150 shot alone with put an ls1 passed that..

first of all who has a BONE stock car with JUST a cam... 1 out of 1000 people probably... if you have a cam, for an A4 you at LEAST are going to have a stall, and if your at that point you should already have a lid, and a cutout at MINIMUM.. for an m6, there will have lid, cutout, gears at minimum...
either of those setups are good for a high 11 low 12 if you know what the hell you are doing..

all you are looking at is HP numbers.. if thats all that mattered there is a lot of things that wouldnt add up.... they weigh a lot more than we do, dont have as good rear ends for racing as we do.. etc...

i got a TA and a GT500. Ive got a pullie, CAI, catback and a tune. Ive beaten many cammed, bolt on, m6 and stalled a4's, from a roll. It blows the tires off of it from a dig so there's no reason to do it.

So, def. not the fastest car around. Im the first to say that the LS1 is much more mod friendly and a better base for big numbers. And yes, they are heavy, and yes, they are slower than what they should be given their numbers from the factory, but that doesn't mean that they're all slow. Thats all im saying.

there's a video floating around of a full bolton fbody with radials whooping a gt500's ***! I couldn't find it just now, but it's out there. I say full boltons and radials gt500s can move when they want to, but hey our's do too!

we arent talking about pullied cars nor cars with a tune, catback, or intake.. we are talking about stock stangs..

560rwhp and mid low 11s!!??!?!?!?!?! wow.. that has to **** you off.. for the record.. a properly built H/C bolt on ls1 should be able to handle mid to low 11s pretty easily... add nitrous and there isnt much of a race anymore..

i see what your saying i think though.....

Oh yea, it def. sucks that it will only do that. but you got to remember, its almost 4k lbs and irs. But its fun to drive, and it honestly rides like a caddy compared to most sports cars, the interior is nice, and you dont see THAT many of them around. At least not around here that is. And it sounds great, the exhaust and the blower.

And really, lol, if you knew the photographer, youd'e shoot him the bird too.

No it doesn't just blow the tires off. It just blows. Learn to drive your car and it wont burn the tires off.

Umm, they're stock tires with little tread left on them. John force couldn't get it to ******* hook.

to the OP:

you are nowhere near 11's in the 1/4 with those mods. in all reality youre probably low 13's. i know a stock ls1 *can* run a really high 12 or really low 13 but lets face it, most dont.

I had full heads/cam/intake/stall and was hoping for mid 11's and that was with FULL suspension and weight reduction
