Default My bolt on WS6 vs 00-04 Mustang Bullit?

My car: 00 WS6 Lid, Long tubes, ORY, Cutout, M6
His: 00-03 (?) Mustang Bullitt, full exhaust, m5, 3.73 gear

I am not sure exactly what year his car is but I know it is a Mustang Bullitt with a full exhaust on it. He want to race soon and I was just curious what the outcome should be. I have absolutely no knowledge of the Mustang Bullitts. We plan on doing a roll race. I was just curious what these cars put out and how well they run. Is he going to keep up pretty well? He claims he has smoked several auto Trans Am's. Someone slip me some info about these cars.

bullits = just another 2v 4.6, nothing special, you should murder him pretty easily if that is all he has done, especially from a roll since you will have a lot more top end than him

If you were stock he would have a small chance from a dig (till higher speeds). With you both being bolt-on cars, you shouldn't have any problems.

just another 2v 4.6. go from a nice second gear pull around 55 mph, should get ugly for him.

I guess I will also be adding a LS6 intake and an 85mm throttle body before i run him. So let me get this right. I should dominate him? I thought I woukd beat him pretty bad, but he seems to have beat a lot of LS1's, so he says. It may be all talk.

It's all talk or they can't drive. Bullit's are 270 hp stock...he is putting down a good 50 less RWHP, I would guess, paired with 3.27 gears. Only chance he has, is either a) lying about his setup, or b) has 4.10s+

I wouldn't even bother with the LS6 and TB. Chances are, he doesnt' know the diff. between LS and LT's....I can see him beating LT1s with 'light' bolt ons, and esp. stock auto'd.

dominate is an understatement

some mustang owners are just full of it, a friend of mine is one...seems they're the only people who don't realize just how slow stock to bolt on mustangs are

this guy thinks he's going to run low 13s with intake, exhaust, and gears on street tires...meanwhile he only beat a stock auto 5.0 sn95 by 3 cars (i'll give him that he was spinning 1st and 2nd but damn)

EDIT: by intake I mean cai

When it comes to stock, or near bolt on, my DSG mach would have to disagree with you.

I do have respect for mustangs, especially well done ones. I'm talking about the mustang guys who have the (quote from below) "**** don't stink" attitude and think they are fast as hell bone stock to slightly modded.

I mean serious **** talk. This is the same guy claiming 307hp/377tq at the wheels in a barely modded 04GT. Can't seem to come up with his dyno sheet though...

Personally I think new edge GT mustangs and cobras both look a **** ton better than 4th gen camaros or new GTOs and would likely drive one over either of those...but I also would know better than run my mouth.

I just think it's funny how some of them are so disillusioned that even if you show them up "something is wrong with the car", or "you own a factory freak and normally X car can't beat me", and all the other ricer excuses. Sure this happens with everyone but in my area the mustang boys are the worse. Those and the Dodge Ram jackasses but we won't even go there.

AHHH so I'm not the only one who has run into a huge amount of dodge ram owners that think they have the fastest truck on the street. damn, i have beat the **** out of so many of them, i cant even count and they keep talking **** saying I'm sprayin. I'm talking about the TBSS of course. i ****** hate hemi owners. but don't get me wrong, I'd own a SRT8 in a ****** second, i just hate the typical owners of them.

Haha, except they don't think they're the fastest TRUCK, they think they're gonna beat about everything short of a corvette.

So he might be putting down 240rwhp and I should be in the range of 350rwhp. Hopefully it turns out in my favor, I really want to spank him. I have been downplaying my car the whole time I have been talking to him.
