5.7 GTO vs 6.0 GTO? alright well for some odd reason my friend is pissed at me because i don't really believe him that he said he absolutely smoked a 6.0 gto in his 5.7 gto... he said that he was pulling on the highway and a 6.0 passed him and he got all over it and passed him like he was standing still and the guy stopped and talked to him and said he was all over it in his 6.0 and just that the 5.7s are a lot faster than 6.0's... which i know isn't true but still...
the 6.0 was a 6 speed and the 5.7 is auto... i guess the guy in the 6.0 said his was stock and the 5.7 only has cold air, a diablo programmer, and a catback exhaust....
does this really sound like a race that would be an *** kicking by the 5.7?

lol k i said the same thing and now i have friends all pissed at me just cuz i didn't believe him.... lol and i didn't even like say bs or anything i just asked if they actually stopped and raced or what and i guess he got the hint that i didn't believe him... but whatever lol
what got me was that my friend said the guy with the 6.0 said he used to own a 5.7 and it was a ton faster than the 6.0's but i just cant see after me personally riding in both that anyone could say a 5.7 vs. 6.0 stock for stock is faster....

Man, your friend is full of it. The only way that happened, is if the dude in the 6.0 didn't know he was racing or your buddy pulled a flyby on him. There is a guy here who has an ls1 goat with cai, catback, and tune, and he got a decent little beating from a completely stock 00 SS.

No way in hell is a 5.7 faster the a 6.0!!! Wen i was stock at the track, there was one with exhuast,cold air, etc.. Just a bolt on car. And I walked him no problem. There fast just not going to beat a 6.0 with small mods like that.. Just my 0.02's Andrew

hahahaha i guess you are a newb so i will let it fly but i just said that "GTOs are slow" was a joke on ls1tech, then i went on to make a joke of it and you got pissed. it is funny to most people go to the kills section and you will see it all the time.
