Default who raced the ferrari on I85

I know he's got to be on here. Last night i was driving on I85 through Macon co. when i see 2 sets of lights coming up on me incredibly fast so i get in to the slow lane. I watched a Black 4th gen Camaro leading a ferrari by about 2 seconds.ferrari looked like the 599 but i'm really not sure as this happened really fast.. This was upwards of 150 or higher because they were out of my sight completely in about 10 seconds. I didn't hear any whine coming from the camaro but i was in the mazda 6 which is really quiet on the inside. I would have given chase but as i said i was in the 6 lol. The only distinguishing feature on the camaro was side exit exhaust before the rear wheels.. and the only way i noticed this was when i saw him shift i saw a wicked torch like flame leave the exhaust tips after he passed me. oh also i just remembered he had LED tail lights. Not sure if this helps but if anyone knows him tell him i said that was sick and i want to know what he's got under the hood!!

Not really YOUR kill story...but that sounds ******* BAD! I would love to have two cars of that caliber pass me like that. We have no 3 lane roads like that though .....nor the bad *** cars.

Plus, doesn't 4th ride out too 135 or so? Figure more power, and higher shift points....He could have been going INTO 5th at 150, setup depending.

no he wastn going into 5th at 150, thats a bit farfetched would think... i shift at about 130-135 into 5th... no way its 150... imo of course

EDIT: not to mention he proly had gears, making his top end less... again just MO

Yea, that is what I was doing stock also. But with more power, and if he was spinning his motor higher (say, 7000 rpm shifting as opposed to 6000), that would help him draw out higher speeds in each gear....FD gear depending also. Like I said...it is in his set up. Stock gear, with more power, and reving higher, he could do 150 in 4th. Stock, I was going 135 when I was shifting into OD.

Indeed. Atelast we can agree that....we haven't a clue on the set up, so we don't know what gear he was going into . Hopefully he is on here. I want to know about this set up. Seems like it is VERY nice.

Un burnt fuel would be my guess...Possibly turbo set up (since more turbo cars spit flames then N/A), or a very rich tune that just got burnt up on the shift.

FYI theres no point in shifting into 6th. 5th & 6th are OD meaning t6th will gain you VERY little (if anything at all) over staying in 5th.

ya i know, but the fact that 5th takes me from 130 to 160 is pretty nice, and will alot of power there too

id love to test it out, see how fast it will go, but what road is capable of that safely...
