You want to make your buddy feel like more of an idiot? My bolt-on FRC beat a E92 (the V8 ones) M3 from a roll by a half a car. Lets see how good he feels when he hears that a 10 year old FRC with exhaust is faster than his $70,000 luxury coupe.

here comes the magazine racing, but motortrend claims that the v8 m3 traps 111. which would make sense if SlowFrc was able to pull a little on one with his 112 mph trap, like he said. To pull one it would depend on your car i would imagine like a 98 a4 would need full boltons, but like an 02 6 speed would probly need headers, cutout and a lid. To run with or pull one, but there are too many ifs to say for certain.

As a side note, a friend of mine went to a dyno day about a month ago and their were 3 V8 M3s there. He said each one dyno'd at under 320rwhp which is pretty crappy IMO. For comparisons sake he said a full bolt-on rx8 dyno'd at 190rwhp so I don't know if this dyno read low or high. I asked him if any ls1s dyno'd for a better comparison but none did. I know, I know the whole my friend saw this is dumb but it's the only relevant information I have to add to this.

Most of the time magazines don't calculate trap speed the same way drag strips do though as far as I know. They just state the highest speed on their timing equipment instead of averaging the speed over the speed trap at the end of a quarter mile track. Magazine trap speeds are a little inflated unless they tested at the strip. I personally think a strong bolt on F body would give a new M3 all it could handle as mine pulled 112 mph trap speeds. C5 Z06s and bolt on FRCs would give them a beating.

In stock form you would rape him on the drag strip and on a road course. He is an idiot and idiots don't know how to drive their cars. Also, he says the E46 M3 has 360hp? He is an idiot twice over because they have 333hp and 282lb/ft tq.
You will massacre him so please post up a vid of said massacre. He sounds like an elitist and he needs to be owned.
I have only owned bmw's and currently own a 2000 M Coupe and I know a fair amount about them and I know enough to know that the C5Z will rape the E92 M3 on every course period.
Massacre his face!
