So I have a 1999 M6 ls1 232/236 112 lsa cam cnc ported heads long tube headers true duals cold air and MAF and HP tune. A charger and challenger BOTH SRT8's from my college want to race... Any one here have any experience with them? Will they walk all over me? or will it be close and just run for some money???

Should be a test of traction but I'm pretty sure you could take him if you can shift well enough.

Are they modded too? If not, should be a pretty easy race for you. When I was stock I was dead even with a srt8 chrysler 300, and I was also dead even with a ls1 z28.

I'd say you'll be fine. Really depends on what they have done though. I knew a guy that had a SRT-8 charger with exhaust and CAI, my buddy in a Stock LS2 GTO took him down by probably 1 car length. To put it into perspective the GTO ran 12.9 bone stock at the track.

they claim that they are BOTH stock. I also took out a Stock GTO w. an LS2 on very bald tires

So if anyone cares I did race the SRT8 charger and smoked the ever loving Sh*t out of it...didnt even have to pull the trigger on the wet kit.
