I've always heard that the first 100 or 150 shot picks up all the easy time. Like a whole second off your time, but after that there is only going to be small differences.

So whatever the car runs now take about a second off with the 150, and then maybe about one tenth for every 50hp beyond that.

id say your best bet is to spend a few hours on here, look through the nitrous section, brush up on what others are doin.

a few more sections to look at 12 second, 11 second, and 10 second. these are cars with real life times and most guys talk about what they did to their car to get it there. check them out! if your goal is 11's, look there and see what guys have done to get there!

Why? A guy just north of here sprays a 200 shot on his stock motor, and has done so for almost three years now.

200 you can live some time on, usually.. IMO a 250 shot wouldn't take too many passes.. Granted these are on H/C car though.
I know a guy from a local track that sprayed a 300 shot...... 3 passes..

25k miles... bone stock except nitrous/fuel pump/tune.... BOOOOOM!
