Default can my ta take a stock srt8 jeep

just curious. my neighbor has 2. im pretty sure they are stock but again i dont know. i have borla catback open plate exhaust, predator tune, 3.73 gears, ram air hood, 2002 m6. i put down 310rwhp and 320 rwtq on the dyno and run 13.3 at 106.7 at the strip. according to wikipedia the srt8 is close to 5,000lbs and road and track ran a 13.2 at 104 so i figure i could take him top end. opinions please.

dig youll get pulled HARD off the line but will likely run him down if you take it through 4 gears. id say once u catch 3rd your caught back up.......from a roll he doesnt have a chance.

^agreed. Not bad numbers for no lid. Then again you are an M6. If you don't have one, I'd buy one first. Knock a tenth or so off and give you 8-10rwhp (as I'm sure you know). Also if you haven't already done so, remove the spare and jack and just run with a tire repair kit (cheap, light, easy, and effective). I think you'll take him from a roll and from a dig you won't have to catch up TOO much.

He has two of them? If he is stock, then just stop reading at itsslow98's post. He's dead on.
He has two though. I wouldn't be surprised if one has a bunch of bolt-ons and a tune. In which case, he could be very deep into the 12's and trapping over 106 anyway. Even so, you're best bet is obviously from a roll still.

race him from a 20 roll. I bet you'll pull a few cars by the top of 3rd.

lol he has two of them. the one he normally drives looks purely stock but the one i saw in the garage the other day he had pulled out today when i got home from running errands and it looks to be dropped, black powder coated stock rims, and the taillights are smoked so im sure hes probably invested something into that given the minor exterior mods hes done. i do have a lid i just dont bother mentioning it b/c i dont really feel it gives me more than a couple of horses lol. i also have smooth bellows too lol. hopefully easter weekend my lt's will be going on and my y-pipe.

Sorry, I phrased it poorly, what I meant was in the first video (the only one you can really hear it idle) it sounded like a loud sprinkler system. I realized it is the same Jeep in all of the videos posted.
