Hey guys I have two buddies one with a new 09 zo6 vette and the other has a 05 GTO with a 7.0 430ci ls3, long tube headers,fast 92mm, 243/247-623/625 cam and a 3,200 vig, and a 150 shot just in case ,Were going to try to line them up Sunday if the weather is nice, what do you think the outcome will be?

One race from a dig and one from a 40 roll, the GTO has traction issues, the z06 dose not while using traction control.

The Goat has ran a best of 11.15 at the track on the old 6.0 engine on a 150 shot, but he was beat on the street by a GT500 that could only get a best of 11.6 at the track, and the GT 500 was making 602 Rwhp. Now the GTO is making 503 to the wheels,on motor, from a roll the goat will kill the vette, but from a dig i dont think he has a chance on the street.

 

i think from a dig that goat will peel out hard. those stall converters arent nothing to **** with if he can get traction

 

If you buddy doesnt total FUBAR the launch he should assrape the vette.

GTO broke the stock transmission, Waiting on a new one now.

 

With the 150 shot it shouldn't even be a race.

 

cant wait to get the new tranny in gona re stall to a 3800 too, should be no contest but the dude with the vette still thinks he will win........cuase its' a vette, although i have rode in it and it is fast. when we get finished with the tranny, when he finally gets it, i'll post a video.

Is your buddy running on street tires in the goat?

 

He's got Et streets, but it still spins bad, He wont have the transmission until June or July though so that kinda sucks!
