Default What you guys think... Solid Roller 402 w/ meaux ls6 heads

stock 6.0 block
Eagle 4" crank and H beam rods
diamond flat tops(dont remember what cc the reliefs are)
FMS 259/267 .705/.702 113 + 3(supposed to have been a 114+4)
Meaux Stage III LS6s w/ 2.08/1.60s 58CC chambers(should be around 12.6:1 compression when I checked it year ago)
K-motion springs
T&Ds
FMS ported Fast 90 w/ FMS direct port(soon to be replumbed by Nitro Daves) and NW 90mm TB
Kooks 1.75" stepped to 2" w/ 3.5" collectors and 4" y-pipe, will run 2 3.5" eletric cut outs on off the headers w/ collector extentions
I have it backed by a Rossler th400 w/ brake and 2.75 first gear w/ an ATI nitrous converter, I think I recall it being a 4,000.
I'm gunna put a 9" under the car w/ alluminum section w/ 3.90s and drilled 40 splines and spool(overkill I know but I don't want to break)
Gunna run a 29" tire.

The front suspension is almost done, bmr K member and arms, need lightweight brakes.
All rear suspension will be madman stuff.
I still have some weight reduction to do, gunna get rid of power steering, abs, power brakes, bumper supports etc. I AM KEEPING A/C... gotta have it

I'm hoping for some 10.40s on motor... some say its gunna go faster... some don't think so. I'm HOPING I'm being very conservative with this estimate.

I'm gunna hit it w/ a 300 shot... maybe another stage w/ 100 or 150 later.

should go fast but remember, lower compression, longer gear and tight converters make for week times on the motor, its the mph thats will show you whats up! On the unit ,hold on hahaa

lol... well 12.6:1 isnt exactly low compression, but I wanted to keep it kind of streetable.... to some its no where near streetable, to some a 224/224 cam is on the verge of NOT being streetable.

I did forget to throw the compression in there.

well the motor/tranny is in the car... it has been for about 2 years! lol, I sealed everything up and stuff but I lost interest and got into atv mud racing, which I'm still doing but I'm not home for enough races(I work in the gulf of mexico on a oil/natural gas production platform).

I've been doing some reading and thinking about swapping to a Super Victor intake w/ a 4500 series accufab intake.

yeah motivation is a problem for me on the car b/c I have SOOO many more things that I do for fun and the car scene around here just isnt what it used to be. What really got me thinking about getting it running is my dad, I talked to him the other day and he rode in a buddy of mines little MILD h/c car and he said it was probably the fastest thing he has ever rode in. The car has been some 11.1s @ 121, he has been down the track in my car before with me back in the day on the bottle w/ the old stock motor and the car didnt hook and went an 11.9. I want to show him what a REAL motor feels like. The sad thing is that I wish I wouldnt have built this motor now, but back when I started this build I had the best of the best @ the time, but that was back in 04-05. IF I had to do it over again now I'de went w/ a canted valve lsx 3.75 stroke motor w/ a MONSTER camshaft.

Yeah i used to be the same way , take so long to build something because theres so many ways to build an engine. The technology that is available to us nowadays makes alot of things achievable, hell warren johnson designed the lsx block for gm , the firing order change that picks up like 15 horsepower over 1st gen v8 firing order... What car on the market when you were a kid could you go buy a cam ,add a unit, have it dynod and run 10s in the same weekend and get 21 mpg on pretty much stock stuff! lol yeah the key is discipline in car building, or you might just be scared to drive it ! lol

I don't think being scared is the problem!!!! I mean a low 11 second car to a low 10 second car is a big change but i've driven a couple of 11.0 cars since my car has been down w/ the motor build and they seem rather slow to me now a days. I blame that on my 'busa... I bought it in 05 and now everything I get in seems slow!

oh good ! yeah street bikes definitly are fast ! yeah 11s to tens isnt a huge jump unless the cars setup is not ready for it then it could be hairy ride , but these cars were made for this type of stuff lol, perfect for drag racing ... well get motivated man 2 years is long enough , id like to see that car spray a 9.40 pass !! i saw a street car in vegas at the street races that ran 9.50s at the track it was fun to watch ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TL_wtLWzBDI
