Default 02 Camaro SS vs 50 trim srt-4

I'm racing a local's srt-4 at the track next month. I have an 02 ss m6 with headers, 3" exhaust, slp lid, ls6 intake, and 125 shot. Both of us will be on slicks. He has a "50 trim" turbo and supporting mods, said he'd be on race gas and 27/28 psi. I ran him from a 40 roll a few weeks ago without spray and he walked me pretty good and he was just on 24 psi. What do you guys think the outcome will be?

No input? I know someone has ran a big turbo skittle before. Post up what you think, I may be racing him for money!

If you can launch and keep your 10 bolt in tact i give it to you to get the win light. You should be high 11s at 118-120 mph. Hell be coming but you should have the advantage from a dig if you can drive.

Hmm I dunno. He ran a 12.4 at 123 on street tires last night at our local track with a 2.2 60' on 24 psi. I might be in trouble lol. I'm afraid to loeave hard due to breaking the rear end....what rpm would be safe to launch at on slicks?

I've raced a 50 and 60 trim skittle before. The 60 trim from a roll was ***, I stayed door to door with him from 45-120 in my near stock Z, he had trouble getting his huge turbo to spool.

The 50 trim however was fairly quick, it seems to be the right match for that engine. It spooled quick and pulled hard. From a dig all i see from them including many friends who have them is broken parts. He has as much if not more than you to worry about launching on slicks. My freind Berk has a 60trim with a small shot to get it off the line and 2 out of the last 3 trips to the track have resulted in broken parts. He has not had it running reliably in over 2yrs.
