Has anyone run a new 5.0??

That's true, but I've just never seen nitrous as a basic mod since it's not constant horsepower. I've just never been much of a nitrous guy. I'm making roughly to the wheels what a 2011 gt is making to the crank. With enough nitrous, I'm sure one would beat me. But of all the people that are going to buy the new mustang, I doubt many will put nitrous in it if it's their dd.
Me... I'm more interested in seeing people get into the engine and dropping compression to the point it will handle a blower or turbo. I already know what to expect with nitrous, but the others will send that car into the 8's or quicker at some point. That interests me.
Could you put those words into a sentence?

Well i'll give you that much, ofcourse there is some technique involved with launching, after all an automatic car can spin the tires too right. But after that, it's pretty much mash and go.

I still like the looks of the rear even though no one else seems to. I wasn't too thrilled about the 05-09s. I understood retro sold. It looks as if they took a 04 and a 05 body and meshed them a bit.

Stop, you want to run a car for me? I am dead serious... It is a 95 5.0, not completely sure on mods.
He "says" it makes 500HP.. Don't know if he is claiming Rw or crank, likely crank. Manual (I know because I got made fun of for having a girlie auto in my stock 250Rwhp (at best) car).

And what the hell are you talking about your 250rwhp car? Nothing you own has that low of power, unless you mean the camaro v6. I'll clear out my inbox, PM me whats up.

I wish to meet up with a new 5.0, one guy ran his at the local 1/8th mile track it was running high 8's low 9's it was a M6. One of my foxbody friends knew him and I was making fun of mustangs and without even asking what I had he asked if I wanted to race him because he had a little sand in his vagina.
My car on a bad day in the 1/8 run7.8 at 90 mph so I was like lol dude I am teasing buddy. My friend explained what was up with my car, the 5.0 owner got really cool after that. They seem to be quick cars I am thoroughly impressed but the attitude of some of the owners seems to rub me wrong.
Also the chick driving that mustang anyone know is she single lol... just playin haha good to see the ladies comin out to play at the track.

GTO is barely heavier then the new 5.0s and other mustangs. Its actually couple hundread pounds lighter then the gt500s. GTO's are pigs compared to your Vettes thats really it... otherwise they are right in the avg weight for newer sports cars.
The new 5.0 is within 50-100lbs of the GTO... Stock weight for a GTO is 3725 (A4) + 175lb driver your talking 3900lbs. vs 3800lbs 5.0. Thats 100lbs = 10hp/0.10/1mph. The fbodies and especially vettes will have a true weight advantage over the GTO and 5.0 (most modern muscle cars actually). From what have been told there isnt a huge amount of weight reduction left to do in the fbodies. or vettes. Its fairly easy to shed weight off the GTO... just depends on how extreme you really want to go. I personally wont remove the crash braces, a/c, back seats just to get weight down cause I DD mine. I want lighter wheels, tow/v brace removeal, aftermarket exhaust, lighter battery moved to the trunk and maybe a few other small things to drop 100-200 lbs.
Now the new Camaros, chargers, challengers, gt500s, roushs are what I consider slightly pigish. In the end newer sports cars are just being designed heavier...
Curb Weights (Full fluids and no driver)
I tried to make this as accurate as possible and I did check multiple places for each number. Most are very close, although some may be slightly off.

Agreed...but it depends on the car in question. For example, it takes no skill (IMO) to get an 11 second LS1 down the track with a 4L60e. Now try getting a car that runs 6.50 @ 215mph with a powerglide down the track. For basic setups, there is nothing
