heres what happened, its kind of long and confusing. last time i went there with just the cam it made 220hp, yes LESS than stock. decided it wasnt getting enough fuel as my stock pump was maxed out after he kept adding fuel to try to get it right and it never did. now i have a walbro 255 and tfs heads. got on the dyno and wasnt getting a good read or whatever. maf was dirty, cleaned it, and still something was wrong. noticed the bellow had slipped off just a tad and unmetered air was coming in. fixed that and made another pull. something was still wrong. did a compression check in every cylinder, no prob there. we put a fuel pressure guage on it and it wasnt holding good pressure. took the pump out (luckily i cut a door in the trunk) and the hose had a whole in it. got a new hose and made another pull. made 100hp more. so im thinking "ok things are going good now finally". he makes some changes and we make another pull. at about 5500rpm the trans feels like its slips. thought it might be getting hot but weve been taking breaks in between each pull since there were always problems. threw the p1810 code (TFP - trans fluid pressure - Valve Position Switch Circuit.) so we stopped there. took it down the road and the car would pull to like 3500 rmp and still wouldnt shift. wasnt slipping as the mph where still gaining. id let the rpm's drop back down and it'd go into 2nd gear. so im going to replace that and see how it drives. this thing has been nothing but problems both times its ever been on the dyno. quite depressing knowing you spent alot of time, effort, and money on something and it doesnt work right. its weird it originally made 220hp with the cam but keeps up with 2 of my friends 400+hp cars. pretty much just pissed off at this car and tired of working on it. i just recently lost my job a couple weeks ago and am pretty close to broke. frustrating.........
