2003 Ported Cobra vs 418CI G8 GT
I know you guys hate these kind of threads but the race should be happening this weekend so long as my intercooler pump comes in Friday and there will be video when it happens. There has been some friendly trash talking going on between me and my buddy that owns the G8. His mods consist of a 418 built block with H/C/tvs 1900@5psi. I believe he has a 3500 stall but not 100% sure. His current numbers are 539/468. We will probably do a best out of 3 from 40-120. How do you guys see this race ending? BTW my mods are in my sig. the only thing that will be different than my sig is the fact we swapped two vacuum lines on my boost bypass valve and I am now making 18.5lbs of boost instead of 17 and the boost doesn't fall off anywhere in the rpm band.

Yeah it ran 10.88 on a 75 shot. Off Nitrous old block put down 491 and ran 11.55. On 75 it put down 550 and ran 10.88.
Now the 418 put down 538rwhp after a 300 mile trip and 5 consecutive dyno pulls during tuning. No cool down time. Needless to say the TVS1900 was a bit heat soaked. I would imagine I am still a High 10 second car.....i just wont get to find out since I cant drag race it. I am hoping to run a friends vette to get and idea on what this car will trap. I would assume it should still be in the neighborhood of 122-124

both are blower cars, so I'd say from 0-100, best traction wins.. Is this on the street (mexico of course) or at the track? The G8 will probably dominate from a roll.. I think the TVS on top of a healthy 418 would outrun the ported eaton 112, even with a heavier car. Need video of this run, for sure! Sounds like a good race.

Suspension wise I'm stock. I will be running my ET Bias Ply tires. With Daniels car being a lingenfelter g8 I don't know if they changed up the suspension or not but he will be running his Toyo proxy R888 radials
