is it a six speed or auto?...I'll assume m6 because you didn't say anything about a stall...

-You want the short end of it? It should roll out pretty hard because you got a nice list of mods right there but I really don't like THAT cam. The gears should help it out but you have to spin the **** outta that cam to make power, which kinda sucks to me for a street car. Those 5.3 heads might help with the midrange, I know those are some great heads for a ls1. Run it at the track and get back to us!

Call Comp, they will design (free) a cam for your specific needs that will match your heads.
Too much intake for a 346ci engine. FAST 90/90 would be better. You don't need the high flow fuel rails, the stock ones work just fine up to about 700hp. I would go with 42lb injectors, LS2 timing chain and definitely change those stock push rods for some Comp Cams chro-moly push rods.

You referring to the FAST 102? Tony Mamo already proved this a fallacy, it is not too big for a stock cubed motor.

Chadman-Why a 9''? It robs more power and the chance you will break a 12 bolt is slim. I have hundreds of n/a low 1.4 60's and 1.3's on the hose pulling wheelies and the moser 12bolt is still in there going strong after eight years of hell in a 3,700lbs car.

you guys are crazy telling him that is too much intake for a stock engine. Yes that setup will make the 450 mark with ease and then some. Just make sure you get a quality tune for it and run a 4" cutout.

Those heads are an ok bang for the buck but for a few more c-notes there are much better choices. I picked up 19/19 with the only change being TFS as cast 220's...

^^more than a few. I thought the price difference was well over $500. 20 horse is a good increase but your definately paying for it.

^ People buying these heads are on a budget and probably aren't going big cubes. I'm sure the 220's are great heads, but can't fairly be compared to the 5.3's. It's a totally different price bracket.

You're definitely in the neighborhood of getting to 450 rwhp. I have a similar setup and ended up at 440 rwhp on a N2O tune.
