111 lsa. Would have gone 110 but he said ptv clearance would probly be a issue which I didnt want. If these 241 heads come off something better is going back on.

i have a similar setup... stock bottom end LQ4 6.0L with arp bolts, lightly ported and milled 243's, eps 234/246 111lsa, ls6 intake mani. will be hitting it with a 150 shot as well. im hoping to put down 430-440whp on motor, and from other results ive seen that should be pretty easy to attain. motor will be here tues, and hope to have it on the dyno within a month

I wish it could withstand a two stage 150 shot that would be fantastic

Old thread, but thought I would share my results with EPS 234/246.

Thread Link: https://ls1tech.com/forums/11-second...can-taste.html

2 Ton car, with stock LQ9 with EPS cam, 1st gear issues so mainly only running 2nd and 3rd gear for now. 12.0 @ 111 mph.

No doubt car will be in the 11's when I can get 1st gear to work correctly.

This cam and head setup I put together is rediculous, still has the LS1 intake on it till winter when i swap to a single plane, and im getting nearly 2" of vacuum at 6500, hence why i shift at 6500.
The advertised duration on the 238/246 is 287/295 mine is installed straight at 108ICL with a IVC of 71.5. My dynamic compression is 9.71 which is very high for a cam of this size. These videos are very rich (11.8:1 gas equivalent) with 23* timing.
Again, the midrange tq this car has is like no other N/A LS1 ive ever been in

Updating my results

I changed to a PTC3800 stall with a 1.8STR, the 2.4STR 4500 I had turned into a 5500 after the H/C swap.
I drive this thing all the time, 1-200 miles a week, and with alot of compression it drives pretty good, Ive got the tune dialed in nice running OLSD. At this time i still have a untouched LS1 intake on it, and according to weight and trap speed im making close to 440whp.
Ran 11.41@120 with a 1.62 60', 3500#, shifting at 6100 as the intake is pulling serious vaccum and it makes no power up high. I feel with the intake changed it would pull to close to 7000 and pick up around 30whp and 5+mph.
I am putting a turbo on it this winter so I guess I will see how the cam handles that

this thread is DEAD, i would like more numbers from people as well

I am putting my 238/246 now into a forged LS3 378, 243 heads 14.2 compression and a 5000 stall. I think it will make 530whp when its all done
