Default EPS 230/234, 90/90, ported 799's

so i'm deployed at the moment, and i'm starting to peice my build together from over here. the car will probably hit the dyno sometime in the next 2 months, realistically speaking. it's been a long time on the drawing board and i can't wait for it to hit the shop.

here's the down 'n dirty:

-EPS 230/234 .600/.610, 112+2 (eps lobe/lxl lobe)
-very tweaked 799's. p&p, milling, valve job etc etc...
-ported FAST 90/90
-ls6 valves
-manley nextek springs, Ti retainers
-lifters, haven't decided between 850-16's or morel street w/ link bars
-comp pr's
-comp trunions
-1 3/4" LT's
-3" to 4" y-pipe
-mufflex 4" cb
-rear will be a stock 3.42 10b, for now

i'm hoping for around 440 to the ground. no idea what to expect for tq from these lobes.

and as soon as i get the results i will update this thread. but i want to see everybody's best guess first.

go!

Hay, nice setup & nice choice of cam too but 440rwhp is really hard without an upgraded fuelpump & injectors I really suggest watching your fueling before the dyno SERIOUSLY,

Hope to hear more from you on this thread so keep us updated
I'd go for a 1 7/8 4:50:34 PM headers setup with a .45 head gasket to max out that performance goal ( Anybody add some info on Flycutting for this cam on .45)

yeah i am playing the fuel game by ear. will upgrade as needed. currently all stock w/ 30 lb red tops.

probably going to stay with 1 3/4 headers. really haven't seen any proof of serious gains w/ 1 7/8 with the rpm range i'll be at. (6800 red line)

I agree that to upgrade to 1 7/8 may not be essential in your eyes now,
BUT
I'm sure you will want to upgrade later, because many have seen 5-12 performance gain everywhere in the RPM (contriversial due to tune),
That performance may not be seen even with a cam upgrade later (so why do it twice).
In My Opinion Only !! Better to upgrade now to be able to grow later.

i'm going to guess 440-450 rwhp, 410-420 ft-lb. i am running the EPS 230/238 112+2 w/ TSP stage 2.5 5.3L and just ran a 11.3 @ 130 in my 2900# RX7

I think your burning tires at the first 330", that may explain the high mph.
Isn't 11.3@130 a bit low ?
On a 2900lbs = a bit too low !! In My Opinion Only.

this was on a 1.83 60' and a 4.96 330'... a very small amount of wheelspin. I normally trap 127-129, everything just seemed to come together for this particular run... 6-speed car. We run different tires/suspension/gearing so my car behaves a little more differently than most Fbody's.

looks like a solid setup. I'm guessing you will be close to my power.

So I'll say 447/401
