I decided against the g6x3 cam. I got a custom spec'd one. My motor is going to be over 11:1 compression, fully worked heads, a lighter car, built 4l80e with a brake and 4500 stall, 4.30 gear on slicks. I should be bottom 10s before the 175 hit.

Just a quick question on cam choice. Knowing the little bit that I have read on the L92 heads, they usually work best with a 12° split. Why only the 8° in yours and the narrow LSA? Not doubting anyone, just curious how this cam came about. Thanks.

Patrick g picked the cam. I think the big split is overrated. The 110 lsa is because im running a carb.

Exhaust flows good enough and doesn't need it. He could have gone less if he wanted to....especially if is going to have a large open exhaust.

I got the wifey pregnant, so I am trying to pay off some bills and doctors visit stuff.

But, I did put the drivetrain in the car and Ive hooked up the 6010 box. Over the weekend I worked on the dash and getting all the new gauges mounted in the factory dash. All tahts left of that is running the senders and wires for that. I need to buy a fuel pump and plumb in it. I also need a gear shift and tranny cooler/radiator. Its coming just at a slower pace now

Congrats. When mine got pregnant, my car went on hold for the better part of 3 years, so I know where your coming from. I wouldn't trade my little girl for all the car parts in the world tho.

I'm hoping my 370 does 470-490 whp on the nitrous tune. Then hoping for close to 700 on the 200 hit. I will know soon enough. Just got the block back from the machine shop today. I will post as I get results for those that follow this build. PM for insider info.

The piston is made with the L92 valves in mind.
