Default does the hp match the bolt ons?

hey guys, just purchased this car...guy says it has 400hp to rear wheels, do the accessories in my signature sound like it is true? he says he has the dyno sheet but "he cant find it" i can tell you it seems like it does because she flies. Dreaming about all the upgrades I have down the road now! haha

400 is doable. it really depends on that cams specs. but yeah id say 380-400ish. you can really tell by going to the track. flashing the car will be better than stalling it up if you are running street tires or even entry level radials such as 555r's.

yea its on all stock wheel/tires the guy built it as a sleeper...even tho the "sleeper" badge goes out the window when you start it up...headers, high-flo y to Loud Mouth 1 cat back doesnt sound like it rolled off the dealership floor. haha needs some torq thrusts and a hood.

I cant see that combo puting down 400 at the rear tires through an auto. 400 at the crank sure but not at the wheels through an auto.

I am unaware of Fast having a 85mm intake. Is it a 78 that's ported to 85mm opening or something? Also the tb spacer likely isn't doing much for you.

If it's a manual it could be close to 400rwhp.

My guess is more like 370-385 but on a happy dyno, sure.

i can see 400whp with a fast intake of any sort and that cam...with a good tune, of course.

take it to the track and see what it traps. should be 116+ if he's claiming 400whp.

i think its 85mm, atleast thats what he said it was...i figured the spacer wasnt doing anything for it anyways...it was tuned by a company called New Era Performance here in rochester ny...the guy does alot for the GM's around here.

How close are you to new era? You could just go and have it run on the dyno
