hey guys i have a 99 trans am full bolt on. with full bolt on and 100 shot i ran 7.7x's in the 1/8 with traction issues. i just did 241 hand ported polished and chamber work to the 241 the porter claims they would flow equal to the ported 243, ms3 cam, 390 gear, spool, and connecting now the trans brake. dropped about 500 pounds off of her and counting. got about 150 200 more to take off. rest of the mods on sig. i will be runing it on and off the bottle 150 hit and a future 200.
what do u guys think it will run? upgrading tires before i take it out, to some bfgoodrich 28x10 or mickeys et streets .

Density Altitude (google it and read for days!). Bottom line the lower the DA the better the car will run. My track is at 36' above sea level and the DA can vary from -2000' to +2800' depending on temp, humidity, baro pressure, dew point and grains of water. Go to www.dragtimes.com for the track nearest you. My bracket car will vary up to .5 sec. depending on DA

id just run a mickey thompson and then itd prob hook. buy you a gallon of pimp juice if not. play with the tire pressures. find out if it likes a little heat or alot. i dont know much about that particular radial. im feeling a 6.70 tho. the tq youll make off the line is going to need a serious tire.
