Default estimate hp and 1/8 mile?

hey guys i have a 99 trans am full bolt on. with full bolt on and 100 shot i ran 7.7x's in the 1/8 with traction issues. i just did 241 hand ported polished and chamber work to the 241 the porter claims they would flow equal to the ported 243, ms3 cam, 390 gear, spool, and connecting now the trans brake. dropped about 500 pounds off of her and counting. got about 150 200 more to take off. rest of the mods on sig. i will be runing it on and off the bottle 150 hit and a future 200.

what do u guys think it will run? upgrading tires before i take it out, to some bfgoodrich 28x10 or mickeys et streets .

Ok... I'll guess 6.8 @ 100mph (having to guess hp to wheels, final weight and dead hook) How about you give us your estimated hp, weight and DA?

I'd also like to know where the 650 lbs reduction came from

ok, well the weight is estimated. i weighed everything i took out and it was around 360 pounds without carpet or seats. i took out everything from the front end. bumper support, ac, powersteering, gutted dash completely, changing sterring wheel. ditching stock seats for the plastic jegs one there 6lbs each vs 49lbs drive 46pass. taking out the rear bum support, the ttop hole, no wipers. that's all i can think of for now.

now power wise the porter said id be close to 450 the tuner says ill be close to the 500 range witch i doubt but that's the estimate on hp. plus a 150shot witch ill guess it will give me 100 to 120 hp to the wheels.

is this better? would u need some more info? id like to get the car to 3000 31somthing with roll cage done.

Density Altitude (google it and read for days!). Bottom line the lower the DA the better the car will run. My track is at 36' above sea level and the DA can vary from -2000' to +2800' depending on temp, humidity, baro pressure, dew point and grains of water. Go to www.dragtimes.com for the track nearest you. My bracket car will vary up to .5 sec. depending on DA

youl make over 500 with a 150 shot with that cam, those gears, and those heads.

id say high 6.70-6.90's depending on your 60 foot. total guess.

As you can see..slight changes effect DA drastically.
Neither of those #'s will get you a personal best time.
You need negative DA (Jan. or Feb.) for your best runs.
Good luck

pimp juice? im fairly new to this especially track. iv done alot of street racing before the hole track thing is new to me. iv only taken my car out 2ice 1st time got about 8 passes and the second time i got about 15 passes. track was dead and i enjoyed it. lol 1st time was all motor and the second was on 100 shot. the tires i listed are the ones i already have the bfgoodrich are right at there sweet spot now ans there 28x10.5 the mt slicks i don't really want to use tho and the hooisers my cuzin is willing to give them to me hooiseres are good right?
