what will my Trans am run? 99 Trans Am A4 w/

TSP ORY
SLP Lid
LS6 Intake
LM1 Exhaust
Self Ported TB
I just installed the hooker header, tsp ory, and ls6 intake a week ago. Before that I ran a 13.4 @104 at the track. Car has shitty 2.73 gears. Im going to the track tommorow....what should I expect to run???

Yea the gearing would change it up alot. Are you getting a tune before you go? I would say before the tune you would run a mid to low 12s my friends running almost exact set up running mid 12s. Do you have a stall converter?

My converter is currently the stock converter. I think im gonna now wait until after the gears to get a tune. Im probably gonna get a spare pcm and send it to frost for him to tune it for my current mods + the 3.73 gears im gonna get. Then when I finally get the gears jnstalled...I can just pop that pcm in and be good. I will get a proper dyno tune in the future.

Hey guys...so i got my 3.73 gears installed a month ago and im ready to see what i run at the track opening this weekend. I now also have some Nitto nt555r drag radials.
What do you guys predict i should run?
I also just installed a tranny cooler in preparation of my stall converter install next week. I want to see what i run with the 3.73 gears and drag radials first before i put the stall in. What will i run with the stall in? My stall is a PTC 3700 stall.

The last time posted above was 13.1
Either way, the gears might gain you a little but not much, but the converter will likely be somewhere in the .5-.7 seconds faster.
Gears help manual cars a lot more than autos. My car started life with 2.56 gears and switching to 3.08 then later 3.42 never showed more than ~.1 that could be directly attributed to the gears.

So I went to the track today and ran my car after recently installing my 3700 ptc stall and dyno tuning my car. With all my mods amd nitto nt555rs on 17 inch wheels this wad the best time I could get without spinning tires and not leaving hard. I believe my car has at least a 12.3 or 12.4 in it if I can leave harder and actually hook during the summer. It was pretty cold at the track. What do you guys think?
