Was an auto even an option on the HHR SS?

Yes....they come down a bunch of hp stock but can easily make the same hp.
They can run good times too at the track cause launch is painless.
But it's a 4speed, so roll races are a nono. And the longevity of the trans is iffy when you make the power I make.

NLS ftw

Yeah I'm gonna steer clear of GM fwd autos. Learned my lesson with the LS4 platform. 4T65E-HD

I know we're talking autos here, but ALL transmissions should aspire one day to be Honda transmissions. Their manuals are damn good. Period. If I could stick a S2000 six speed in my Vette I truly think I would.

My grammar could be misunderstood after I reread it.

The autos trans is iffy with power.
The axles.and trans are pretty tough on the manual.

As long as I don't throw on slicks and a stage 3 clutch I'm good.
I had drag raidials last year on it for a few runs.

We'll probably figure something out in that event. Maybe use the next fastest pass from both as the tie breaker. If they still come out as a match then they both deserve to buy the loser a tshirt of their choosing

Im going to vote against RT for a tie breaker. When Im running for times I may sit on the two step a few .10's of a seconds into a green to make sure I get off the line right.

Y'all are "them" type of guys huh? lol

My point is that RT has everything to do with racing against someone at the strip or on the street.

I go to the strip to test my car out..not race others (unless of course I have something setup beforehand). I will sit at the tree and make sure I get the RPM I'm looking for since I'm not using a two step and go from there.

I would agree with you. However, this competition is racing the clock, not an opponent. Plus I find at our local track, 90% of the stuff I race I put buslengths on, so I dont race my opponent per say very often unless I have a race set up.

This competion is about the clock and the opponents in your class.

Chances of a tie at the top of any class will be like winning a lottery. lol

This... I've hit an .001 light and have several .0xx lights but they were rare events and only happened during heads up runs. Normally I don't care at all about rt.
