Question ok its been awhile but basically just curious

about 5 years ago I had my car dynoed and it made 414rwhp 390rwtq. Now I know after many miles you lose some RWHP and RWTQ but does anybody know around how much? and also I recently had to replace my rearend which I did with another 10bolt but this one came with 4.10 gears so im just wondering how much RWHP those gears eat up? and lastly I just slapped on some Weld Pro Stars(so lightweight wheels) so just for the sake of musclecar knowledge I guess you could say I wanted to ask to see if anybdy on here knew any of the answers to my inquiries

I'm not sure there is some difinite and accurate way to measure any of this since there are so many factors and possibilities involved

I remember my old tuner telling me he sees around a 2 to 3 percent loss on the dyno with gears. I do remember that

I figured having at least 400rwhp with a 4K stall and 4.10 gears might be enough to take on the new 5.0s and 2016 SS

Gotcha. That's definitely enough to take out a stock 6th gen or 5.0. Even if the gears cost a few hp on the dyno it will be faster in a race, and that's all that truly matters. Plus your car is lighter

ok well since then I have added UMI LCA and relocation brackets plus their panhard bar and also a built 4l60e with transgo shiftkit then more recently the 4.10 gears, ported mass air flow ends and a smooth bellow, also Im about to finally replace my patriot valve springs with some BTR 660 versions and going to also replace my old factory stock plug wires with some MSD versions and finally removed my heavy OE Z06 wheels with Toyo DRs with the lighter Weld Pro Stars big and littles with some MT 275-60-15 DRs

The track will tell you the real results. I highly doubt you have lost any hp from engine wear

yes my tuner told me years ago that in cooler weather alone I should have dropped a few tenths he felt the car could run 11.40s in the 1/4 so yea im hoping I can drop a few more tenths but now my minor delima is the tires although they fit don't hit the fenders on bumps, now I was told to roll the fenders but another good friend told me use a double adjustable panhard bard to center the rear? which by the way my car is lowered a bit. what do you guys think???

wtf I wonder why yours are rubbing with 315's they are only 26" tall? im running a 28" tall tire and im told that the adjustable bar will let me center the rearend to where I wouldn't have to roll the fenders? also how did you roll yours? with what tool?

Yes 26" tall, and yes I used one of those fender rollers as well. I know every car is different, so some will rub and others won't with the exact same tire, wheel, etc....Granted it only rubs around a turn on occasion but it still does.
