Question Will I make it to the 11's

Will I make it to 11's with my current mods + a ms3 cam and circle d 3800 stall?

Depends on your launch and traction

If you don't then I would think there's something wrong or the DA is STUUUUPID HIGH.

I think its common sense and a given but I hope you have a good tire.

Thank God for all the sense you have that now I feel great that I'll have 11sec car. I plan on running nittos on the stock rim.

Shouldn't be an issue at all. Might think of a larger converter with that cam and gear though.

Max effort cam needs a max effort build. If you don't want to do that, get a better cam (which I would recommend anyway since you likely don't want to turn your 98 model engine to 7000rpm).

I ran 12.23 with a Yank 3600 and a Comp Cams knock off of a TR230 cam. An Fbody should be faster in the 1/4 than my car by 1-2 tenths all things equal.

You should be able to get 11s with a good modern mid size grind.

I was on the phone with the guys from tsp for about 45mins. This what they recommended. Damn your killing me! I have the circle d 3800 stall already and I'm looking at getting 150shot in the near future.

Sorry to add confusion and I'm sure they had reasons for the recommendation as it really depends what you intend to do with the car along with it's weight and other factors you might have discussed with them.

Assuming you are a full weight car with the mods you have listed if the car were mine and the goal was to be able to run 11s in a daily drivable car I would be placing their Torquer V4 at the top of my cam list as far as Texas Speed goes.

In my opinion going much bigger starts to hit diminished returns as far as power versus how much harder the car is to tune and live with daily in a full weight car with moderate gear and stall converter.

Even in the LS2 my cam acts like a 234/242 once lash is factored out...that's still smaller than a MS cam with more cubes, more compression, and more headflow. I would not go bigger if given the chance to do it over, it's a very stout combo in the mid range and runs HARD up top as is.

I plan on spraying 150shot I think that's why they recommended the ms3
