Default What's my rwhp?

Getting ready to build my stock bottom end WS6 with an A4 and 3.73's. Here's a list of mods:
TEA Stage 2 243 heads
BTR Stage 4
102mm vengeance ported fast intake
NW 102 tb
42 lb. injectors

What will it put down on the rollers?

It's just gonna depend on the dyno. With that said I'd say maybe maybe 440-450. What size stall?

What converter ?

Tough to guess through stalled autos.

400 - 450 rwhp

Yank 3600. I know numbers vary but I'm hoping for something between 425-450.

Based on personal experience I will tell you this....don't worry about the dyno number if the car performs like it should. If this setup traps around 120 mph in a full weight setup then it's running good for what it is. Like mentioned above it could be anywhere from 400-450, but it really doesn't matter if it's setup and running right

I'd be very happy if this set-up trapped 120mph!

I trapped 121 - 122 mph hitting the limiter on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift.
I put down 396 whp on a random hub loaded dyno through my loose, unlocked converter with setup in my sig. Made 2 pulls for fun.

Prime example. 396 rwhp and tapping the limiter but with a 122 trap. Take another HCI LS1 with a similar build that's makes say 450 rwhp, but traps say 118...ive seen it go that way as well lol

You may also need a little more converter if you're trying to get everything out of it.

Haven't figured that out yet. I ran 17" MT Drag Radials on my 01 camaro in my sig. That car was an M6 with 3.90's. I put down 440 rwhp but never ran any better than 11.90's and usually trapped 118-119mph. I sucked at shifting and that's why I bought an auto! Lol

I hear ya man. If you have a good tune with this setup, along with no issues, good track conditions, etc...im willing to bet you'll be very close to 120 mph

CIDxrpm/3456 = CFM @ 100% VE * .069 (rough temp conversion) = lb/min @ 100% VE

Tell me what you get, then subtract 10-15% for drivetrain losses and thats what you have.

Example:
355cid X 6000 / 3456 = 616CFM * .069 = 42.5lb/min = 425BHP

Thats a turbo-conversion (for temperature) so power should be slightly over that. Also keep in mind its only 6k, if you goto 6500 or 7000 it will be massively different.
So give it 20horsepower for non-turbo air, 445BHP, then subtract 12% for manual trans = 391RWHP @ 6000rpm

Its just a rough estimate
all dyno read different (dynojet I prefer because the roller never changes 'weight')

Well some plans changed. I picked up a set of tfs215’s and I’ve decided not to run the BTR Stage 4 cam. I almost set on going with the vengeance racing VRX5 cam but I’m not sure of what lsa and advance to run. Vengeance said to stay with the 113+2 but I thought the 111 would build better mid range torque. Any help from you guys would be appreciated!!

Also I’m going with the 92mm intake and tb instead of the 102 setup.

What's your question exactly? Just about the cam?
