575/500 ishhhh

Depends on a lot of things like locking the converter, wheels and tires, stingy or nice dyno, exh setup etc.

Pretty good estimates. Hope I can get 550fw/475whp. We’ll see when I get it all together. BTW, triple disk converter lock up third gear, TSP true dual rumbler exhaust, Convo Pros

Could probabaly pick up another 20 or so with a larger cam but probabaly not worth it if the engine is already together

565 flywheel/485 whp locked + or - 5 whp

I really have no idea Automatic- voodoo - slush-boxes are so unpredictable! I think your car looks like a good combo and will run very well.

Going to be awhile. Just received all the pieces and parts. Now have to assemble everything then tune. Do everything myself, less the short block assembly this time, so time is of essence. Needs to be complete by March.

16 months later, the engine is together on the K Member. Waiting on converter to get back from Circle D for a restall.

Made changes to the intake, Vic Jr with that low profile eLbOw. Intake is port matched to the PRC 227 heads. Had a 102 adapter tigged onto the elbow then polished the inside. The rear hump cut back and smoothed. The divider rounded on one end and knife edged on the back, like an air foil. The cam changed to 240/250 111+4 .629”/.612”.

Such an odd color but holy **** I like it.

I also love the attention to detail, that all looks damn good man.

I usually don't like painted motors, they never seem to come out quite right but that damn sure did.

Nearly three years later and the car is together. It starts with an initial tune. First oil change done. No leaks. Need to adjust the Viking coil overs for ride height and still fighting the TSP Rumbler exhaust so unable to get on the road.

Couple of changes to the drivetrain: 3.90 gears with a Nitro Gear helical worm gear diff. The converter was tightened up from Circle-D. For the trans, replaced the stock wide ratio 3.06/1.63 planetary gearset with the Sonnax close ratio 2.84/1.55.

Thanks! In the tuning stages and working on VE. Able to idle and drive. Up to 28 miles on the drivetrain so far.
