Default Are 10s possible with my cam only setup?

Just curious if anyone thinks it will be possible to maybe go 10.9999999999 with my setup? The local tracks are closing here soon and I wont have my converter in time to find out before the season is over, so I figured until I can find out myself, I'd see what others though.

Ahem:

Engine wise:
stock bottom end
241 heads PRC springs chrome molly pushrods
MS4 cam
LS6 oil pump
LS6 intake
Professional products fuel rails
Ported TB
Pacesetter longtube headers
bullet mufflers
MSD wires TR55 plugs

Trans/Drivetrain:
TH350 transmission
TCI MRVB
5000 stall
TCI SFI flexplate
Chrome molly driveshaft
4.10 gears
28" Drag Radials

Body/Chassis:
Powersteering removed
AC removed
VFN lift off hood
Pretty much gutted interior
10pt chrome molly cage
kirky race seat
15x10 & 15x3.5 lightweight prostars

Anyone think it will be possible? Any guesses on a 150 shot?

Thanks man! Im not sure yet, once the trans is in I'll take it down and weigh it. Id imagine is shouldn't be too bad though with the glass hood, powersteering, ac, interior, leather seats out, and all that.

im set up kinda lite as well no carpet, center console , a/c delete, ps delete, umi k member ,corbeu race seats, momo steering wheel ,td's , drag lites no hvac or airbags no radio lol....there's more but you ge t the point .....i do have a 402 and running 10.60's on a radial with a 6 speed ....so there is a lot left in the setup
i think you'll be really close on a good day....

Well I sure hope so man! Hopefully in the spring it will run good with the nice cool air. If not, I sure hope it does something impressive on a 150 shot. But thats about 700.00 dollars away haha.

trust me i know ive been building mine from new ! i dont have never ending pockets lol....
but its fun to see progress and look forward to the next mod ....keep me posted

Agreed. Being 19 and in college doesn't help! But I will do!

Without dynojet #'s, race weight, and the DA of an average race day - it's hard to pin point. My car isn't 4000lbs, but it's no light weight. I make mid 400 RW #'s, and ran the time in my sig w/ roughly 2000' DA this past Sunday.

I'd say if you are over 400RW, are under 3500lbs raceweight, the DA is great and the car dead hooks... 10's should be in the bag. How soon do you plan on going to the track?

I would suggest sorting out the suspension on the car.

Well Obviously I have my adjustable LCA's (Thank you Mr. Trigger1, we just need to get them off your car) and adjustable panhard bar taken care of, as well as comp 3 way rear shocks, I just need to get my adjustable torque arm. Which it will have before the car goes to the track!
