Default **FS: CARTEK 4X Heads/Cam - 507RWHP - 10.32

**Price List At Bottom Of Page**

After my recent switch to a new setup, I am selling my CARTEK 4X setup.

These are the components that helped me go 10.32 @ 132+ with a 3300LBS 6speed Trans Am.

This is the setup that made 507+ HP on a dyno jet, with supporting bolt ons

Here are the parts:

CARTEK 4X Heads, they are ported 243's, they were rebuilt when taken off the car. They have the original Manley SS valves from when they were built first. But they have new springs, locks and Ti retainers. The springs are the upgraded option springs that came on my new TFS 225's rated to over .650" lift. The springs are brand new with zero miles on them. Simply taken off the Trick Flow heads and installed on the CARTEK 4X heads.

4X Cam - Cam is... is... wait for it... 242/242 .630/.630
Cam is made by Comp for CARTEK
It was designed to work with these heads, and the heads were made to work with the cam. I am not looking to split them up. The advance was built into the cam so it needs to be installed Dot-to-Dot. Cam was in the car for roughly 3000-4000 miles and about 100 track passes

The heads and cam come with the pushrods I used on them. They are Comp Hardened pushrods but use two different lengths for the intake and exhaust. I will find out which is which. I would still warn the buyer to measure PTV clearence. Pistons WILL HAVE TO BE NOTCHED for this setup.

Also for sale are the headers and Lid that were on this setup.

Headers are QTP 1-3/4" W/High Velocity Merge. Headers have been on the car for roughly 3000 miles, never driven in bad weather conditions. There is a very slight dent on the #1 Cylinder primary tubes that is visible in the first picture. Not sure where that came from. Maybe the steering shaft?

Texas Speed 85MM Lid with IAT hole

Looking at my closer of goodies, I also have my old *** CARTEK M-Cam which is a 218/222 .568 lift. Its a tiny cam by todays standards but it did help me run an 11.3 all the way back in 2003 lol, with CARTEK Stage 2 853 heads that I bought used. Cam has miles on it, I would say close to 20K

I also have my stock rocker arms. They are factory GM rockers with about 67K miles on them.

Prices:
CARTEK 4X Heads & Cam [Includes Pushrods] $2500 + S&H
QTP Headers: $400 + S&H - SALE PENDING
TSP Lid: $55 + S&H
CARTEK M-Cam: $50 + S&H - SALE PENDING
Stock Rockers: $50 + S&H - SALE PENDING

I prefer Pay-Pal. But will also accept Certified Check or Post Office Money Order. All prices include Pay-Pal fees.

I will entertain any and all resonable offers. Please no low balling. I understand that the price on the H/C is not cheap, but when you consider the heads are recently rebuilt and have had zero miles on them since, when you consider that this setup is a proven runner with dyno and track results to back it up, and when you consider that this setup will cost you more for just the heads if bought new from CARTEK, plus a core charge on the heads, its a pretty damn good deal.

I will be willing to drive up to 100 miles to meet the buyer and make the sale if the buyer wants to save the shipping cost.

Thank you for looking!

Unfortunately no, not with the 17" wheels.
These heads can be adapted to the 2008 Sonata with 17" wheels but ONLY if one uses Dexron III trans fluid and runs no more than 32psi in the front tires (any psi is fine in the back).
To run this heads & cam package on a 2007 you'd have no choice but to convert it to 16" rims/tires but you might also need 6x9 speakers as well.
It's worth a shot because I hear that the Sonatas respond VERY well to ported 243 heads.
